      We use Hotjar within our agency on our client's websites. We mostly use if for heat mapping and session recordings. It is a good place to start if you are want to know what your users are doing on your website, and it is a good visual aid.

            Statcounter is definitely a tool you need to have combined with GA. You should not use it if you think that you can get enough from Google Analytics but honestly I think that also adding StatCounter to your site will make you happy.

              Well suited for heavy web traffic seeking your content. Not suited as well for companies who do not have significant web traffic. The tool is very well positioned by its sales team and very well supported by the support team. We love the tool and would recommend to the right users.
