On the marketing team, we use Zoom Workplace for running our webinars. I like that it allows multiple people on our team to use the product and the webinar features are pretty intuitive so it's easy to learn and adopt as we grow our marketing team. I also like that the webinar attendee cap is larger than most vendors.
  • Easy to use and learn
  • Settings are clear and easy to understand as an admin
  • Allows for easy adoption across team members
  • For webinars, more interactive capabilities other than polls
  • For webinars, allowing us to block registrants by company name and not just email domain as we have to spend time looking up the domain
Zoom Workplace works great for us when it comes to webinars. It's easy to use and the video recordings after the webinar allows us to easily turn our landing pages into on-demand webinars. The platform is not hard to use and can be easily adopted across our marketing team as we continue to grow.

Our organisation uses Zoom for remote communication and collaboration. We use it for Google calendar integration and slack integration for meetings and collaboration. Zoom is also used for training and development with features like webinars and breakout rooms
  • Webinars
  • Remote sessions
  • Integration with third party platforms like Google Workspace and Slack
  • AI companion
  • Voice and Audio streaming
  • Breakout Rooms
  • Resource utilization of clients
  • Security
Zoom Workplace is well suited for : Remote and Hybrid workplaces: Meeting spreads across different location can be easily be done using Zoom Large Scale Webinars and Events: Virtual conferencing with polls , Q&A sessions , breakout rooms are useful for large scale virtual events. Zoom seems to struggle in low bandwidth environment, this should be looked into.

We host our monthly webinars on Zoom Workplace, and find that it's the ideal platform to host something like this on. We enable Q&A features but want to ensure that only panelists can see questions, and Zoom Workplace has been great for that.
  • The ability to hide questions from participants
  • The ability to record the webinars on demand
  • Sending out reminder emails to panelists and participants
  • The on-demand recording doesn't always work. For example, our last webinar was not recorded due to a technical issue.
  • The invites can be confusing for people who aren't very tech savvy. Sometimes the invite includes too much information, including the "dial-in" numbers that can detract from the link itself.
Hosting webinars, interviews, and meetings. Though we tend to use Teams for meetings, Zoom Workplace perfectly fits our need for webinars and larger-scale events and meetings.

We use Zoom Workplace for internal and external meetings as well as customer-facing webinars. We use Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center for customer support and external business discussions. Zoom Workplace helps us stay connected with our co-workers and our customers as an all-remote company.
  • Webinars and webinar attendee statistics are an absolutely breeze with Zoom Workplace.
  • Zoom Workplace meetings are easy to spin up and make meetings easier and better to attend than alternatives that our productivity suite offers.
  • Zoom Phone is so much easier to set up than a traditional VOIP system and works much better.
  • SSO should be a free feature on all paid plans, and not gate-kept behind the most expensive ones.
  • Setting up Zoom Contact Center required a professional services engagement. This was disappointing as our team was chomping at the bit and ready to implement without PS.
I think that Zoom Workplace's application is leaps and bounds beyond their competitors in terms of functionality, ease of use, and fun integrations with other applications to make meetings more engaging.

We use Zoom Workplace to host meetings and webinars to connect internally and externally.
  • Allow for remote organizations to stay connected
  • Allow for strong interactive Zoom webinars for external interactions
  • Making an inclusive workplace
  • Have a button on Zoom meetings to easily turn on and off pronouns
  • Have each meeting show you a preview of yourself before joining
  • Allow for not paid user accounts to have unlimited meeting minutes
Just generally it's been a crucial tool for us as a remote organization to stay connected.

I lead a team of 30 event producers across an organiation of 100+ staff. We host small closed netwrok events to large publica events with 3000+ attendees.

Zoom Workplace is intuitive, secure and a familiar tool to all our particiapnts. It is preferred by many audiences to Microsoft Teams which is our organizations default virtual event delviery platform.
  • A known and trusted name for our stakeholders
  • Easy out of the box integration of simultaneous interpretation services unlike Teams
  • Easy to manage participant permissions and security settings
  • The Sign language feature remains challenged
  • Enhanced chat functions in Webinars (not just meetings)
  • Interpretation not yet available in breakouts
Zoom Workplace is the best tool available for our bilingualism needs. Integrated Interpretation and ability to have multiple sharers allow participants to attend and engage in the language of their choosing.

When we offer breakouts sessions we are not able to use interpretation which is a major challenge for our organiation

It is used to have online meetings and Knowledge transfer classes in wide range of schedules in our daily life, which allows us to have all meetings in remote locations, which makes our daily routine simpler to one and all
  • Host a secure, free video conference call on any device, like your laptop, smartphone, tablet, or smart display.
  • Screen sharing and annotation.
  • Encryption: By default, Zoom requires encryption for all data transferred between the Zoom cloud, Zoom client, and Zoom Room.
  • Virtual backgrounds: enabling/disabling.
  • security
  • quality and other features
  • Streaming for higher qualities
  • AI enhancements
Ideal for remote work, virtual meetings, and collaboration. Excellent for webinars and large-scale events.

We needed a platform that could meet all the requirements of our stakeholders for our annual Results Announcement and Interim. After comparing our options, we found that Zoom, along with their event team, was the best choice. We have been utilizing their services for over three years now, and even after evaluating the competition, we still believe that Zoom is the superior option.
  • Ensure discretion of users
  • Live interpretation with operator
  • uptime

Glassdoor has been fortunate to partner with Zoom Events & Webinars and Zoom Events Services over the past few years for our Sales Kick-off and Summit events for our Go-to-market teams. Our SKO events are virtual and we needed a way to manage the event at scale. Additionally, no one on our team had a background in running virtual events on a platform so the Services team is our lifesaver and partner!

We've been using Zoom Webinars since 2014. Everything from Director's Quarterly meetings to major company announcements to DEIB events. We average at least two major webinars per week, sometimes as many as eight per week, all conducted under Zoom. Attendance ranges from just a few hundred to over 1500. There simply isn't a better platform for mass one-to-many video communication.
  • Simple user experience--very intuitive for attendees to join, interact with Q&A
  • Adaptable and feature rich--very easy to set up Webinars for different use cases with features like registration, Q&A, practice session, HQ video, branding and virtual backgrounds, polls/quizzes, post-surveys, breakouts, resources, production studio, FB/YT Live, captions/translation, etc
  • Aesthetically pleasing--new branding options (such as webinar wallpaper, custom backgrounds, and name tags), plus the recent addition of the Production Studio feature, means it's easier than ever to produce beautiful and appealing webinars.
  • Panelists, practice session, and backstage--Zoom makes it easy to set up webinar panelists ahead of time, and get them into the room early for a practice session. The new backstage option is even more powerful than the practice session feature.
  • The bleeding edge--Zoom is continually adding powerful new features for Webinar rooms, where other programs leave you with the same ol' stagnant feature set.
  • I wish there were more polling options available in Zoom in general, and this extends to both webinar polling and post-webinar surveys. Could certainly do with a more robust polling feature set.
  • Setting up Registration for Zoom webinars can be very tricky, and I usually advise against webinar registration. The fact that users have to manually download an .ics to add it to their O365 calendars after registering means lots of issues with users attempting to join after registering early.
  • I would have complained about lack of breakout rooms for webinars, or the fact that the practice room can't be turned back on after it was turned off, but Zoom recently implemented webinar breakout rooms plus the Backstage feature, so both of these common complaints are now fully addressed!
There simply isn't a better webinar tool. Zoom offers best-in-class audio/video codecs and quality, they have the best usability, they have the most features, and the price for a webinar license is fairly reasonable.

We use Zoom Webinars for a twice weekly educational webinar series for our internal teammates. We also use it for events held for our customers. Zoom Webinars allows us to easily schedule, manage, and run our webinars with ease. We love the ability to create and save templates to speed the setup process, customizing email reminders, and using their suite of collaboration tools during the webinars.
  • Ease of webinar setup
  • Webinar templates
  • Reporting
  • Collaboration Tools
  • I will we could add registration disclaimer language to the Webinar templates.
  • Some of the customization and setup features are difficult to find.
  • I would like to add someone to help me run webinars without paying for them to have their own webinar platform. We should be able to buy one platform and both of us log into it and setup and run webinars from it.
I've used Zoom Webinars for meetings and webinars from two people to 500 people. It has worked well and reliably in each scenario! I especially appreciate that viewers can turn on closed captions if they need them or can have the language translated. That makes this very helpful for our teammates that need that type of assistance.

Zoom Webinars were particularly useful and helpful during the COVID pandemic lockdown. We conducted training sessions and attended official conferences using Zoom. We stayed connected as a team which improved performance and productivity.
  • Easy to use.
  • Easy to create breakout rooms.
  • Good audio and video quality.
  • End to end encryption could be improved.
I love using Zoom Webinars for online meetings and mentoring sessions. They are well suited for Edutech platforms for ease of conducting of webinars and meetings. The polling and q & a features are good. Improves team connectivity and collaboration.

I am a technical producer for virtual and hybrid events. We mainly use Zoom and Zoom Events for virtual and hybrid events productions. Some productions also include vMix/Blackmagic/multicam.
  • Very quick and easy to set up a multi-day/concurrent session event
  • Assign host/alt host permissions for speakers and support staff to start and run their own sessions
  • Livestream to lobby for easy admin management
  • Simulive for automatically playing out pre-recorded content as if live.
  • Production Studio for more professional looking productions
  • Option to automatically move participants to next session
  • Broadcast message to concurrent sessions (breakout room like functionality)
  • Improved Expo and Networking functionality (they are a bit basic now)
Zoom Events can be used for single session, recurring session or a multi day/ multi session conference. I've used it for many types of events, its very flexbile and configurable.

I use Zoom Events primarily to host virtual events for clients whose needs demand something more than "just a meeting or a webinar". Clients who have conference-like, multi-day, multi-session events see Zoom Events as an opportunity to "scale up" their event without huge expense. While Zoom Events can accommodate hybrid events, those come with a degree of complexity that can be expensive. Many of my clients are staying with annual virtual events or alternating onsite and virtual events, with some wanting to convert their small-scale onsite events to hybrid. I've used Zoom Events for groups as small as 50 and as large as 800 (an upcoming event will be 1,200+), and once you learn the event configuration process, any event is easy to configure -- once you have your event details down on paper or in spreadsheets. A lot of it can be imported with CSV with no hand data-entry.
  • Easy data entry using imported CSV files
  • Full speaker and session images and text, with individual itineraries for attendees.
  • Duplicate the structure and format of an existing event for your next event, or create an event template to easily replicate future events
  • Automated language caption translation on-the-fly for a growing list of languages
  • Like most Zoom products, Zoom Events is actively being improved and updated. The release cycle is monthly, which means event planners need to keep up with changes.
  • While Zoom Events also works for in-person only events, this will require a certain mind-set shift to work well for many organizations.
  • There is a core group of small business Zoom Events users who can provide help to new-comers, and an increasing number of helpful on-boarding resources, but Zoom Tier 1 support still starts out with the most pedantic questions; it's difficult to reach someone who can really help you with a difficult problem if you are not a large Zoom customer.
  • Professional Services is available from Zoom, but it the cost is out of reach of most small businesses and non-profit organizations.
If you're flexible and want the types of features that a virtual conference can provide, with a multi-day, multi-session format, Zoom Events can be a good fit. If you have "your way of doing things" and you're not willing to explore the Zoom Events product to get the full benefit, it might not be for you. If you're a $500M year company, pay for Zoom Events Professional Services and get a great event -- virtual or hybrid! If you're a small business or nonprofit, find a small Zoom Events producer to create your event for you, or a Zoom Events "navigator" to provide you the guidance you really need to do it on your own.

Zoom for Events

We used to use Zoom all the time - with the start of the pandemic it came in very handy. I worked events and with the pandemic and the resulting limit on events we began to use Zoom and continued to use Zoom post pandemic so to be able to still carry out our events but not in person and on a more efficient and economical level. Zoom allowed us to continue to engage our donors and friends with events despite the changing environment.
  • Zoom rooms are particularly helpful especially in breakouts and allowing event attendees to get to know one another
  • Zoom is easy to use when I need to record an event or presentation so that I can share and engage with donor and friends who cannot attend
  • Presenting via zoom is easy to use for myself and for guest speakers even those who are not as tech savvy
  • While I like the zoom rooms sometimes there have been delays in starting them leading to confusion with attendees - this may be a connection issue rather than a product issue but wanted to mention it
  • Zoom does tend to get more glitchy then other platforms I have used - especially when presenting my screen or sharing a video. Not sure why.
We used zoom when we wanted to still hold a screening of a movie that portrayed caregiver burnout. Zoom allowed us to share this screening AND hold a question and answer session afterwards with both the movie screenwriter and our hospice leadership team.

We used zoom for several team meetings where it allowed us to talk as one large group and then break out into rooms and allowed us to connect more intimately as small groups

I used Zoom for online B2B Sales calls. Previously i was using Skype and local dialers to reach out clients. During COVID -19 moving from phone call to Zoom meetings totally changed my experienced. In my opinion, it is user friendly and increased my conversion rate. I also used it for internal team meetings and was a great experience so far. Managing virtual team, chat rooms, screen sharing and easily joinable from browser with a single link made it a favorite platform.
  • User Friendly
  • Screen sharing
  • Free video Recording
  • Calendar invites and follow-ups
  • It is difficult to use Zoom for low band width connection.
  • One hour bracket for free user should be increased
  • Mobile browser view is difficult to join
Best platform for Online Sales Meeting
Internal Team Meeting can easily be conducted if a resource is on work from home
Presentations can efficiently done through Screen Sharing
Webinars can be organized
It can easily be integrated with different platforms like Upwork
It is very easy to Sign Up and manage it.

Zoom Video Webinar is being used across all our departments, Zoom is a very popular platform & user friendly So very less technical support is required for the same .When the Higher management want to convey their thoughts to all employees we use the webinar functionalities as well as when our management need to share the info of products to the end customer we use it & without any problem people join the webinar with functionalities of multiple panelist , Unmuting audio , Q & A functionalities.
  • Multiple Speaker/Panelist
  • Unmute attendees at times
  • Registrations & data collection
  • Background Banners in webinar without sharing presentation
  • Starting Webinar from Mobile
Zoom Video Webinar is suited were only one way communication is required where no one will speak only listen with other functionalities of even controlling the participant audio when raised hand , the Q & A section making everyone to share their thoughts & Question as well as the functionality to increase the number of participants.

You cannot see if the follow-up emails after the webinar were sent or not. There is no report or proof that this email is sent to webinar registrants. I contacted support and they said they do not have this feature and that I would need to contact each attendee and ask them if they received this follow-up email which is grossly unprofessional to do. I would suggest that any emails following the webinar should be sent from HubSpot or emailing system like Mailchimp, etc.
  • record webinar
  • practice session
  • No information or record if any of their emails have been sent or not. (follow-up emails)
Zoom Webinars is overall a very good tool, especially because it can integrate with HubSpot but its most lacking feature is the follow-up emails to attendees and absentees after the webinar. You cannot see if this was sent or not. Apart from this feature, which you can work around for future webinars, it's pretty decent.

Zoom Video allows our company to set up meetings with various vendors and clients in different locations. This allows us to interact with individuals to analyze product details or address concerns that a client may have with an order. In this time of social distancing we have been using Zoom Video to set up meetings for new business and new relationships with vendors. We are able to contact services like payroll and insurance carriers to go over any changes in rates or help to sign up employees during renewal. We expect to continue to use Zoom for our future meetings to continue to sell our products and get the word out on our company.
  • Easse of Use to connect with individuals
  • Opportunity to include large groups in the meetings
  • private and secure
  • Call in could be easier to navigate
  • Allow the host more options to control the meeting
Zoom is an easy way to communicate with various individuals as long as a internet service is available. Even without a camera or microphone you are able to participate in a meeting. This can vary from casual to professional settings. I can not forsee a scenario where the meeting would not be appropriate.

We use it for all of our course lectures, meetings, and virtual events. We are currently transitioning to using Zoom versus another service because of Zoom's superior features and ease of use. It helps easily integrate with our current enterprise software and allows both students and faculty to easily integrate Zoom into their personal devices and calendars. It is used for almost all of our virtual meetings and is used extensively all over our campus.
  • Ease of integration
  • Intuitive interface and setup
  • Strong reliability
  • More screen sharing features
  • Full access for non-organizational users to join and use our tools.
It is great for those who need virtual meetings for work, school lectures, round table discussions, presentations, and more. This is also great for those looking to host webinars as well. There are not really any scenarios where this would not be an applicable app to use except for maybe small group discussions as this is more built for larger audiences.

For client conversations and webinars, my firm now uses Zoom Video Webinar. We use Zoom to make meeting invitations and see our clients' faces as we discuss their company because we have clients all across the country. Additionally, the screen sharing tool comes in handy when showing clients' websites and other images.
  • For the purpose of voice recording and onboarding new employees, this works well.
  • It is simple to use and has a pleasing appearance.
  • It is a fantastic tool for recording and archiving critical recordings.
  • It could be easier to share documents at a meeting.
  • If this is your first time attending a Zoom webcast, please arrive five minutes early. It might take some time to get there.
Zoom may be used for a variety of purposes. Not only do I want to perform seminars and group coaching here someday, but I also want to establish a webinar. It's convenient for me as a coach and for firms with people scattered over the United States or the globe to be able to gather in one central location. This is useful for anyone who has to meet face to face or even face to audio, and it's even better if the talk or meeting needs to be recorded. I haven't discovered a method to make it less useful or suitable for myself, so I can't speak to that.

Soon after the pandemic, the entire business ecosystem moved to an online mode of business which helped us to connect with our colleagues from the entire globe. Since we have to conduct and attend several meetings to have a smooth flow of our business decisions. Zoom Video Webinar has come out with a good user-friendly interface and has been a part of our business to this day. Its video recording mode has helped us to keep a record of our decisions and proof of transcript. The host and admin controls help to manage large audience sizes without any disturbances. Having a screen sharing option along with onscreen board and pen usability, enable us to present as well as explain the business parameters and agendas. Its breakup room features help us in the distribution of small events to be conducted simultaneously. It has enabled our team to stay connected for an entire project from drafting to finalization.
  • The screen sharing feature
  • Recording of meetings
  • Providing breakup room
  • Admin controls.
  • Chat option
  • Sometimes irrelevant background noise creates disturbances that need to be identified and auto mute them
  • Identifying spamming messages on chat option and providing admin to block or remove
  • When having large participants presentation screen to users ratio should be properly adjustable
  • It is also prone to cyber-attack like we fear having a sensitive discussion which is crucial to the organization, so if zoom provides a highly secure connection at premium charges, it will be highly appreciated
Zoom meetings are appropriate for 1.casual meetings with friends o 2.virtual parties
3.office events.
4. Conducting meeting seminars for a huge crowd like for thousands .
5. The events or private meetings which need to be recorded and be stored in cloud memory for future references.
6.It is also prefect for medium sized enterprises where meetups are more frequent.
7. It can also be sync with slack which most of the enterprise uses.

Zoom meetings are less appreciated in.
1.Highly sensitive meetings.
2.In a conversational class or interactive teaching programs where 2 -3 people couldn't be heard distinctibly and it creates chaos.
3.Using it as debate forum whould be of less use people can't be assessed properly when their body guestures could be judged properly and simultaneously people talks creates easy chaos.

We use Zoom [Events] for a variety of types of meetings. We recently have used it for webinars throughout the agency for updates to policies, to changes in procedures, and for training purposes too. We also have used it for educational purposes as it allows us access to camera use and we are able to chat in groups.
  • Has camera access
  • We can choose our name displayed
  • It is user-friendly
  • Making a change on the name we have displayed can be easier
  • Would like more hidden option tabs
  • More participants on the free version
It came in super handy when COVID first hit and we were in somewhat of a lockdown. That was when we really started using it both for work and at home for personal use, than actually for appointments as well. It's great that it allows so many users into one conference. It is a bit less appropriate when there are others present and you get the background noise, or your dog jumps on your lap for all to see.

Before the global Covid-19 pandemic, we were using Zoom [Events] in hybrid meetings and it's worked very well. At the beggining of the pandemic, the over-demand made the system less stable but it was fixed quickly. Nowadays we're using Zoom [Events] to make 100% of our meetings. The results? An increase of 70% in attendees and 20% more clients.
  • Attendee and speaker segregation
  • Voice and image stabilization
  • Record and review the meeting
  • Buffering presentations in .pdf or .ppt to reduce web risks
Zoom Events is perfect for meetings where you need to separate the speakers from the attendees. Of course, Zoom Events is not perfect, but I do not know a better [software] system. If it's possible, [I] recommend some improvement in presentation [management]. If you have, for example, a buffer to hold and store presentations before the meeting begins, [you’re going] to need less broadband to show your slides.

The Zoom Video Webinar is currently being used by my organization to host project team meetings, departmental meetings, and management meetings. It is being widely used across my organization as well as our affiliates. It creates convenience by avoiding the need to travel far to meet face to face as well as for safety purposes during the pandemic. It's quick and easy to use.
  • The ease of using other apps while on a zoom video call
  • The ability to disable audio during the call so that it can be used on another app
  • [A] simple way to chat within the group to all audience[s] or a particular user
  • Ease of scrolling through the videos of participants as well [as] the participant's list
  • The chat room can enable the option of sending a broadcast to participants on the meeting without sending [it] to all
  • A participant can be on hold on a meeting instead of leaving the meeting and returning
  • Noise reduction if possible for background noise from some participants
Zoom Video Webinar is well suited for business meetings, within companies, whether it be team meetings, management meetings. It can also be used for group discussion purposes where the ability to congregate in person is not feasible. It can also be best used for [an] online school where the class should be interactive and both the lecturer and students play a part in the lesson. I think it is not well suited for public broadcasts for media purposes.
