We use it across the whole organization. It centralizes our communication with our employees if it is related to payroll, benefits, or performance.
- Communication and enrollment for benefits for our employees was a huge change and it is a simple platform to set up and manage day to day.
- The ability to provide one location for all employee information is great for both the employee and the organization.
- I had a hard time at first with the payroll specialist that was assigned to our account. Once I found the right person, we work wonderfully together. It made a world of difference.
- When working in multiple states, I would like the ability to lock the labor allocation to the specific location, but if they work at another location, you can't override the lock that is placed. Even as an administrator, you can't override the labor allocation.
- Not informing us of updates before they happen.
- I would like the ability to keep employee corrective action and conversation logs.
- Paycom will work as hard as the work you put into it. If you put in the time and set up all the platforms and use them effectively, it is a great investment. It needs to be maintained on a daily basis and updated frequently. The return will be how much you really invest in the time to set up and implement the system.
For the cost and the robustness of the system, you can't beat it. The customer service is so much better than all three systems I have worked on. Paycom will work best for your company if you spend the time and work it every day. It is a lot of work but it has been worth it in the end. As I always say with any payroll company I have used, "garbage in, garbage out." So you have to keep up with how Paycom is working in your organization.
