We use it to process sales, to collect website opt-in and customer data, to maintain specific sales data lists, to send out emails and newsletters, to collect data on open rates and to send out autoresponders. Right now it is functioning so poorly it is causing incalculable harm to my business.
  • maintains specific customer lists when it is working, which it currently is not
  • sends out emails and newsletters and allows for recording open rates, BUT NO LONGER A RECORD OF CUSTOMERS CLICKING ON A LINK in an email or newsletter
  • takes credit card payments using Paypal, among others, to process them
  • can be programmed to send out autoresponders, when it works
  • Maintenance of the various aforementioned functions is so poor they often no longer function and there is no way to get anyone to repair them
  • [In my experience] there is no competent and knowledgeable customer service, and those who are there are extremely poorly trained and unable to help - if you can even reach them
  • Restore the ability to track whether or not a reader clicked on a link in an email or newsletter. Even better, which one did they click on? This function was discontinued several years ago.
  • Even better than that, allow for two or more links with totally different products or actions and track them separately
  • The person I have who is dealing with it says it is seriously antiquated and needs a complete overhaul. Update the whole thing into a 21st-century product.
Right now it isn't well suited for anything [in my opinion]. It is not being maintained and many of the important functions one got it for in the first place simply do not work and no one is doing anything about it. A number of my colleagues use it too and we are all looking for an alternative. I'd never recommended it to anyone and have steered clients and colleagues away from it.

  • A high negative number for the ROI of time spent and money spent trying to get it to work
  • Negatively impacting the ability to record opt-ins and send them working links to an opt-in gift
  • Cannot do any prospecting/list building because the new customer experience is so awful it reflects badly on the business. In spite of doing everything correctly, they often cannot obtain the opt-in gift, and even if they are able to opt-in, that information never reaches the owner and it's unknown if their name and contact information ever reach a list let alone the proper list.
  • Unable to market products or services because sales cannot be reliably recorded on a designated list
  • The incompetence of the badly decimated and poorly trained staff is losing me untold amounts of money in revenue.
  • To move to another platform is time-consuming, very costly in terms of finding someone who can do it, and will be unimaginably stressful. And it may not be possible to port over all the customer contact information and/or of the carefully set up customer/product lists
  • Your incompetence has sent my business into a tailspin from which I don't know if I can ever recover.
Customer support used to be impressively excellent. No way would I ever waste my money on a premium option when you cannot even get the standard option right.
Yes
In the old days, it was resolved. Lately, no one cares or even knows what to do. This is probably why you never hear back from them and is the reason the problem never gets fixed.
I didn't know Web.com even provided support for this product. Never even heard of them.
Why can't I give it a MINUS 1 million??? There is effectively no support.
