We use Newswire very strategically as we only have a few meaningful times where we need to get big important updates out to the world. We are very happy that when we need to get something on the wire, Newswire does a great job of getting the message out far and wide. We end up with hundreds of pickups and impressions in the high millions. The process of generating the content is pretty helpful, too, and ensuring we hit our target audience is important.

I really don't see how any platform can outperform Newswire, so I am very happy with them. I would highly recommend them since they make this process quite easy and manageable. If you're in need of PR, this is a good starting point.

Very easy to use and very easy to get started. You do not need to do any of the legwork if you are not a competent or strong writer. However, it's important to have reasonable expectations of the reach and impact, especially if you are not a titan of the industry. The platform is easy to use and easy to manage the impact and reach of your release.
They all seem the same to me, just with varying interfaces and pricing. I went with Newswire just because I've used them in the past and have had a good experience. I am sure Cision is also good as it's an industry leader. The markets are a little varied, too, but I have not explored that much.

We used the Newswire service to share about the new book and show launches. This was to get the marketing message out to new clients. I believe it did help with our outcome goals. I think the turnaround time was fast for our needs and self-explanatory. I was not clear on all the outlets it actually got sent to you yet it seemed to be a good service for show and book launches overall.

We had one new launch and were able to get the message out to a broad audience in a short period of time. This was easy to use and worked well as far as results go. The pricing is very fair for the service and the setup and forms are easy to use.

It was self-automated and easy to use for creating press releases. I was able to figure it all out without any help and the ads were distributed as agreed to. I think that an assistant could easily learn how to create advertisements on this platform for any needed press releases.
I like both services however the Newswire does not require a commitment or large downpayment for a year's worth of press release campaigns. For the small to mid-range business, it is easier to not have a large expense and to be able to get a release out with a short a fast turnaround time.

Newswire is a significantly easy platform to use. It is seamless and very self explanatory. And, as mentioned there is excellent customer support. Even the most technically challenged will find the step by step process easy to use. Loading a press release and accompanying image is really easy and quick. Payment is secure and easy. It is always possible to reach someone to support you.
I have used a few competitors of Cision - I choose not to mention them here - and while they provide a great solution, Newswire is just easier, simple and they have much better customer support - and when you run into issues the level of customer support does become a game changer

Only one person from our media engagement team uses Newswire and because the process to upload a release is so easy and seamless you do not need to have masses of people accessing the system. It is a stress free and very easy process. Less people using the system means they can focus on other tasks.

We only have one person working /accessing newswire. They need to be able to follow a basic and intuitive system that provides a landscape view of the entire distribution process. These people need to be able to understand various vertical markets, approval processes and team work - and Newswire supports all of this.

I spent a significant amount of time researching competitors to Newswire and selected Newswire because of their great and easy to use platform and superb customer support - they are simply great people. Also, if I need after hours support and need to work on the weekend I have always had a response from the team. Other competitors make you wait till the next business day.
Nothing really stands out other than one area that I always focus in on, Newswire could do with a few more vertical distribution markets that we could select that would enable us to reach key and relevant media. I think that there are one or two groups missing that could be added in and this is an easy fix.
Customer support is one of Newswire's key unique selling points. I have worked with many of the other platforms and Newswire stands out head and shoulders above the rest. In fact, I am still awaiting one of their competitors to call me back - literally! Answers are readily and speedily available from real people - not bots - and they always have the correct answer the first time round!
I did not purchase premium support because i did not believe that my consultancy needed it. However, if you are an agency that believes you need this level of support then I feel certain that you cannot go wrong. The team at Newswire will have you covered! and they care, that is crucial!

It was after hours and I had a release that needed to go out to the market the following day. I needed to get the release to a key vertical market and needed to have sight of the publications that the release would be going to so I could assess if the vertical was appropriately covered. It was no problem for the support team, they sent me publication lists to review. The release went out successfully the next day.

We use Newswire to distribute press releases. It is easy to use, and the pricing is reasonable compared to competitors. It does not have as wide a reach as other distributors but we are still able to get press releases into the networks that are most important to us and at a lower price than others offer.

If you are looking for an easy-to-use press release distribution service with a low barrier to enter at a reasonable cost, Newswire is a good option. You can target industries and networks fairly simply and the analytics provided are solid. They do not have quite as large a distribution network as some other companies, but generally speaking, you can target who you need to target with Newswire.

Newswire is simple to use and the pricing is fair. The company's network for press releases is not as large as some competitors but seems to have the best reach at a comparable price point. Newswire also offers quality support for customers, which can be hard to find in this space.
