We do not use any of the proprietary features from Acquia [Digital Experience Platform], like Site Factory, that enable this. (I am allergic to proprietary.) But Drupal is inherently scaleable via multisite, and things like Single Sign On via contrib modules.
Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why
We use Acquia [Digital Experience Platform] mainly for marketing purposes. Other departments are involved with the application at a very low level without any active decision. The scalability of the application depends on how you customize Drupal, your theme, and your modules.
We've had an efficient migration of sites and successful adoption across departments. I can easily see us scaling up with other Acquia products to meet overall marketing needs.
There is always room for improvement, but the current platform has allowed us to bring several other departments [into] the solution and we now cover 4 separate areas of the business within our DXP platform. Flexibility and scalability [are] readily available as is the ability to centralize core design and functionality requirements. This allows for consistent branding and UX UI capabilities across our websites.
The data Acquia collects, and the way it displays it and is able to be imported into other tools is useful beyond just teams working on our main website. Segment data can be collected and imported into other tools to help further break down user metrics based on certain criteria we have deemed important.
Acquia scales to meet our traffic needs.
This is not a needed capability for my company
We've had a lot of success building and scaling on our products thanks to the Acquia Digital Experience Platform. By planning our projects out and keeping [an] eye out for coming features, we've been able to iterate on our existing projects and scale when needed. From an infrastructure standpoint, Acquia [Digital Experience Platform] allows for the scaling during extreme traffic increases fairly seamlessly.
The platform is scalable and has that front of mind. We've benefited from the ease of creating and launching new websites.
The platform itself is scaleable and has no limits, but you have to be careful if you think everything will just fit. Watch out for your DNS settings and remember there are limits on your number or request you can make, all this has a cost impact.
We don't use scalable solutions.
Acquia seems to be focused on Drupal-based CMS sites which means that it is not flexible and scalable to non-Drupal-based sites.
The Acquia Digital Experience Platform is an "Open DXP" with its two core pillars being content and data.
