We looked at a couple of other products but they were quite a bit out of our price range, or beyond our scope to implement. ActivTrak was the fastest and easiest to implement. SysTrack

Systrak was purchased as an application performance monitoring system but it's usage morphed into user activity tracking once the pandemic hit and everyone went home to work. Even though it did provide a good bit of data about user activities, the data collection was on the client and was not accessible if the client machine was not on and connected to a network. The agent was also not as stable at ActivTrak so there were frequently large gaps of time in the user reports which was not accounted for. This made the system unusable for employee consultations and HR activities.

ActivTrak is already the chosen product used in Solera. It seems to be quite comprehensive in its data collection and reporting. Except for not being able to track mobile devices, its data collection is quite exhaustive and reporting/summarization, insights, coaching features are very strong points for it. I think it is one of the best in class. If mobile devices (tablets, phablets, and mobile phones) can be added, this product would be formidable

I selected ActivTrak because of the positive reviews, but I was unaware that most of the reviews are on sites that don't allow users to submit their own reviews. This paints ActivTrak in a much more positive light than the experience I had with them, which was absolutely awful.
