Activtrak for remote employees.
We have been using ActivTrak for about three months now. It has been helpful to track our team's progress and monitor their use of our apps and programs. While ActivTrak does monitor our team's work, it does not feel invasive and still gives our team some privacy compared to some other programs offering the same service as ActivTrak.

ACTIVely TRAcKing progress with style
Tracking productivity of our users both in office and in work from home scenarios.
- Tracking productive users/teams.
- Providing a means of alerting pertinent parties of concerning activity.
- Easy reporting of overall productivity to concerned parties.
- It would be nice to add categorization preemptively. At present you have to see the process at least once to do so.

- I think we’ve definitely gained insight into how people work and that home or office doesn’t really matter.
- SSO is nice from an admin standpoint.
- Reporting is vastly improved from our previous product.
We could not see home workers before so this is immensely helpful in the new normal.
We can easily see where work loads are [getting] high and where people should be taking more breaks.
By providing detailed reports, we can easily see what is being used by whom and can correlate that to those that get more done in less time.

Management and admin keep a tab on productivity. IT sometimes uses the information to assist in troubleshooting and catching odd trends in usage.

The ActivTrak's powerful stealth agent gives you the ability to follow in depth the activity of your users and machines. There are features like the automatic screenshot and the web and application activity that are really [like] helping hands to maintain the population in agreement with your security policies. No excuses, you got all evidence easily in your hands. When we got into the pandemic in 2020 we sent all our users home and it was easy to manage user productivity.

- The 'View Activities' icon in the top websites menu should open a new browser tab avoiding to use the browser's back arrow
- There are adds in the menu structure like the features "insights", "coach" or "integrations" that sends you to an upgrade button. This is unproductive and could be separated in the menu structure.

When we needed to send our population to work from home due 2020 pandemic, our workforce was not used to do that and managers were concerned about their teams productivity. So ActivTrak was the right companion for managing working hours and with the additional ability to look what was going on their screens.
I'm afraid we do not use the tool for this target.
The tool provides utilization graphics and in our case, we were able to find that our workforce concentrates the most portion of their time working with e-mails and spreadsheets. After looking at some common terms written in those hundred emails we were able to find processes that were converted to BPM workflows and RPA automation.
The ActivTrak's ability of logging and seeng in real time the screenshot activity of the users was the feature that helped us to decide.

ActivTrak: A winning product in my arsenal of tools
We are using it to monitor the productivity of all of our salaried staff. It had helped us identify individuals that are not focused on work.
- Management of Productive/Unproductive activity is easy.
- The stock reports are very detailed and easy to use.
- The onboarding process is first class.
- Some reports take a bit to load as there is a lot of data.
- We had issues with classification performance early on which have been resolved.
- At times, the agent will hang up and productivity will continue to be counted.

Currently I am the only one that support ActivTrak, it has been pretty hands off from the beginning requiring minimal support.
