Adobe Acrobat DC is the current version of the well-established document / PDF management solution, part of the Adobe Document Cloud (the other part being Adobe's eSign services based on technology acquired with EchoSign in 2011).https://media.trustradius.com/product-logos/my/fT/J9MDVI3EM3CZ.pngCan't imagine working without AdobeI use it almost every day, as do all my associates.,It is very user-friendly for editing documents. The fill and sign feature is so very helpful for getting multiple people to sign documents. Reformatting Word Docs to PDFs is a very helpful feature.,It would help if there was "laymans language" in the help box. For example: What are you trying to accomplish? Sometimes I have to re-name files when I save them.,10,There are at least 4 clients that were able to pay me sooner because I had the updated and edited documents to them in a timely manner. There are no fewer than 6 clients in my sales funnel who have information from me that were professionally presented and tailored to their needs.,Microsoft 365 Business,8,Microsoft 365 Business, Evernote, DropboxIt has simplified our processesCurrently, I use the "Document Cloud" to interact with our presenters. I run about 100 plus webinars a year within the association. Acrobat is great when trying to share resources and even to gain signatures for important documents. This product has changed the way we interact with our members and associates.,I can make edits directly from my iPad while away from the office with no issue. I can create cross conversions between different document types.,For what I use the product, for now, it is great. I am not sure of any changes that would make the product better.,10,The product offers great value and works in our budget.,,10,Dropbox BusinessUse Adobe Acrobat DCAdobe Acrobat DC is used in almost every department in my organization. There are a lot of tasks involved, with editing, creating, signing and sharing of PDF documents, and Adobe Acrobat DC helps to do all the work from any device at any place. It also helps to manage our documents.,Editing documents. Signing PDF documents. Sharing PDFs across devices.,Too cumbersome. Non-intuitive. Subscription model.,8,Makes work easier. Quick file management. Faster outcomes.,8,Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Sublime TextAdobe is the PDF guruAdobe Acrobat DC is being used for all departments in our organization. This is the most used tool for everyday work. Adobe Acrobat DC provides many advanced tools to make our work easy. We can also convert PDF`s into other formats. As a finance professional, this is a must-have software to meet daily reporting requirements.,Best reading experience. Easy conversion into different formats. Best for presenting documents.,Conversion into Excel could be better. Sometimes it stops responding.,9,Simplified our work requirements. Better reporting with less human effort. No need for external services for our work requirements.,FoxitPhantom PDF,9,Solver BI360, Microsoft Office 365, MS SharePointIt does everything it's supposed to do with some features that might surprise you. We've used Adobe Acrobat in many ways over the years. We use it for creating fillable form PDFs, and converting documents to PDF. I also really like the ability to convert scanned documents to PDF with editable text using OCR. I have my signature uploaded, so I always use it to quickly fill and sign documents that are sent to me, even if the publisher did make them fillable/signable. Most recently, we've added using the Adobe Sign feature for sending documents for signature to our own clients.,It's the standard in creating PDFs. You can convert pretty much any document to PDF. Editing existing PDFs is easy with Adobe Acrobat. Even if the existing PDFs are scanned documents, you can still edit the text of the document. Filling out PDFs sent to you is really easy, even if the publisher of the PDF did not make it fillable and signable. Sending documents for signature is easy with the Adobe Sign integration.,I don't really have any complaints. It does everything it's supposed to do very well.,10,For years, only our marketing department had Adobe Acrobat licenses because of the need for it in graphic design. The rest of the company just used Adobe Reader. But now, our sales department also uses Adobe Acrobat to create order forms and agreements for clients to sign electronically using the Adobe Sign add-on to Acrobat. This has saved a lot of time and made it easier for clients who have trouble with technology to get back paperwork more quickly, thus shortening the sales cycle.,DocuSign,10,Basecamp, Facebook for Business, Twilio SMSIf you don't have Adobe Acrobat DC, you're doing it wrongMy team of analysts uses the professional version of Adobe Acrobat, specifically for the additional capabilities it has to redact documents, as well as convert faxes and scans into PDFs. As we deal with national datasets and then have to report to individual health plans at various intervals, being able to redact information from a central report to tailor it to the individual health plans allows us to save time as well as maintain HIPAA compliance.,Adobe Acrobat works particularly well with opening documents quickly and not having compatibility issues with various sources of documents. Also, if you do not need some of the more advanced features that the more expensive professional version provides, there are free or less expensive versions that better suit your needs. that flexibility is welcome The UI of zooming into documents that might have smaller font or unclear information is very helpful, and generally, anyone can sit down and figure out how to work the program with very little training. It's very intuitive.,Since there are many different versions, I would like some sort of pop up while downloading to display the various versions and which on you are currently requesting, to compare. much like how Amazon will show the product you are looking at, and below that it will show other products from the same line that offer different features. I'm not sure if this option already exists, but some form of customer service attached to a button in the program. If you were stuck, you could click the button and be immediately connected with customer service.,10,Being able to redact reports means we no longer have to create individual reports in addition to the consolidated one. That saves us time and manpower Being able to select the professional version only for those who need the extra capabilities saves us money. A "Once size fits all" approach would not have been helpful. Having such a vast list of compatibility means we only need one program instead of 3 or 4 that add up to the needs of our business.,Nintex Platform,Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Flash,10,10,9Adobe Acrobat System BugAdobe Acrobat DC is no longer being used by the business, it has been cancelled as of today. The online Adobe system, as confirmed by Adobe, has a bug (case numbers can be provided) that currently they have no fix for. This has been going on for 8 weeks, and the system allows one-time use then advises the Customer that they need to subscribe. It has taken 6 weeks for Adobe to confirm the bug is present and currently have advised they are working on it but this has been going on for a further two weeks. We have cooperated and allowed Adobe access to our systems to run logs and to get as much data as they required, the result is: They advise today that the subscription is cancelled and have refunded £43. Cost to my business extends into the thousands. We would advise anyone thinking of using this service to look at alternatives until the platform is more reliable, but Adobe is unable to advise when this will be. Adobe's CEO is aware of our issue.,We are unable to provide anything that would compliment Adobe Had they accepted and investigated the issue from the beginning rather than keep telling us the problem was out of their systems we may have commented positively,Listen to their Customers Don't assume Customers are all thick and unable to understand how a computer functions Accept their system is not infallible,1,Negative impact as the system has failed to deliver ( we have had this subscription for 14months failed 8 weeks ago, and the cost to the business has been significant,1,1,1Adobe DC is a very cost-effective toolIt's being used by all the research analysts for projects and meetings. We make brochures and reports and present them to the clients.,Easy to edit texts even though it's in PDF format we could change cover and edit pages well transform into words or other formats easily, sometimes when there are pictures involved, the ability to transform into editable text is not good,10,Saves us a lot of time on making some changes to the cover or the text of reports.,,10,Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesignAdobe Acrobat DC ReviewIt is used by our Marketing department to edit presentations.,Move slides around on our presentations. Making small amendments. Adding in additional slides.,Ease of use on mobile devices.,10,We use the whole suite of products from Adobe, which work great as a complete package.,Microsoft 365 Business,10,Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, XeroAdobe DC makes my job so much easier!!I use Adobe Acrobat DC daily for editing PDF files. I have to send out contracts, lien waivers, etc. The ability to edit a PDF file makes my job so much easier! I also like that it gives me the ability to digitally sign documents. Without the editing feature, it would take me 3 times as long to get my job done.,Great for editing PDF files Great for digitally signing documents,Sometimes, the program has small issues when I first start my computer. Usually a restart fixes it.,9,It could be cheaper (what couldn't?!), but it's not that bad as far as pricing goes.,Microsoft 365 Business, Splashtop Business Access, QuickBooks Pro,8,9,9For PDF creating and editing needs, Adobe continues to be the tried & true gold standardSome of the agents and PMs use adobe as a solution to editing PDF documents and getting them authorized/executed through their 'signing' feature. It is not a company-wide mandated or sponsored application at our organization. There is a small group of us internally that, as a part of our ongoing, regular responsibilities, need to adjust forms and have clients sign them and a few of us identified Acrobat DC as a solution for this and have been using pretty consistently (sometimes use other tools with similar capabilities) ever since.,Compatibility with various file types. Ability to edit PDF documents. Ability to create forms/pdfs from scratch. Ability to send documents out to clients for signature/signing capability (all in the app).,Pricing structure (there are some lower cost and free alternatives in the marketplace with many similar - not All - features). The UI feels a bit dated overall. Mobile App functionality could be easier overall (see my notes on competitor/similar products).,8,Reduce unnecessary stress by making form creation, edit-ability, and signing a simple task. Reduce office clutter by eliminating the need for printer and scanner. Increase the efficiency of administrative tasks in support of the above.,PDFfiller and DocuSign,5,PDFfiller, DocuSign, SmartsheetBest Document Application There IsWe primarily use Adobe Acrobat DC for creating, compiling, and editing PDF documents. The application offers a wide range of features that consistently come in handy, like the sanitize and redact features. The application stays open on my computer and I am constantly in and out if it building, exporting, compressing, or converting files to and from PDF. I do not know what I would do without it.,The redaction capabilities are remarkable. Once confirmed, the redacted data itself is amended to be untraceable to the recipient of the PDF. The compilation feature is very user-friendly and filled with options to easily insert files (of varying types) into the document, remove sections of pages, and eventually save the compilation as a new single PDF document. The sanitize tool is also really beneficial in removing hidden data or texts or digital footprints and metadata that we don’t often recognize is present.,Can be a little slow to open the program initially. The direct editing tools that allow for text editing do not always get the font sizing or text box formatting exactly the same requiring additional time to make multiple adjustments to ensure consistency.,9,ROI: efficiency of doc management. ROI: protection of the company’s digital assets. ROI: ease of use across all user types because of UI.,,10The go-to for PDF filesAdobe Acrobat is our standard for PDF files. We use it to secure documents and make them easily storable. We make regular use of the search functionality by using OCR technology. As standard software, it is accessible for all employees, giving us a common platform for document retention at our company.,Secures editable documents. Search capability with OCR. Ease of file management.,Need to have upgraded versions to do some common editing tasks. Sometimes difficult to utilize highlighting and other tools. This may be a network issue internally, but often the files are slow to open on our system.,9,Helps us assure document control. Provides an easy, common platform for document retention.,Nitro Productivity Suite,8,VTS, Microsoft Office 2016, MS SharePointAn Excellent PDF viewer and editorAcrobat has been my default PDF viewer since the beginning, it has been reliable throughout the versions. I use Adobe Acrobat DC mostly for creating PDF documents and other times to view PDF documents. Editing documents to add text or split PDFs into multiple files. Opening multiple PDF files at the same time.,Individual licenses are expensive. It's definitely not a thin client or program as it's a big installation. Finding the correct tool to use is not very intuitive.,7,It keeps everyone in the company productive rather than searching for other tools. Everyone in the company uses the same software which is helpful The ability to sign and edit documents reduces the use of paper to print, sign, then scan.,Smallpdf,7The Best PDF Software On The MarketAdobe DC is a great solution to a common problem. Clients often send us PDF documents that we need to edit and there really is no way other than Adobe. We can easily click to insert any text or images we need, plus we can digitally sign a document if needed.,PDF editing. Digitally signing documents. I have also found it useful to export pdf documents to Excel so I can use the data to speed up my consulting services. In addition, I use Adobe Acrobat DC to send out my engagement letters and contracts for signatures.,Fill & Sign feature is great. It saves me time and postage. All I have to do is activate the fill and sign feature, mark the places where signature and dates need to be entered and send it through Adobe Acrobat. Once it's signed I get an email from Adobe with the attached completed document. Converting all types of document to and from pdf. I have both created pdf's with Adobe Acrobat DC and exported a pdf to another type of document. I have used the export to different Microsoft Office documents especially. Combine pdf files. A feature I recently found is that I can combine separate pdf documents into a single file. This has helped me organize my backup files more simply and efficiently. Word Search. I like the fact that I can search for a particular word, group of letters or even a phrase through a pdf document. This makes it much easier to modify and personalize my document templates.,I use the highlighter a lot. Sometimes I prefer to use different shades of highlight in a document. As far as I can see only a yellow highlighter is available. Standard symbols. It would be handy to have some basic symbols available to use like a colored checkmark, question mark, or exclamation mark to be able to mark up pdf's for others to see.,9,Adobe Acrobat DC has sped up the process of initiating new accounts. You can very easily sign a pdf with your REAL signature. And use it again and again, quickly and fast. When it comes to making comments and notes or annotating it’s very good. I like it a lot. Printing a document just to sign it, and then scan it to email it was very time consuming, and waste of paper. With Adobe it is fast and easy.,Easily sign letters. Make comments. Create stamps like “approved”. Add notes to PDFs. Can share documents quickly and fast.,Some features you need to buy and upgrade to use them You need to teach yourself how to use all the cool features, once you do it’s a great program, there are some really cool features to use,10,Saves time for getting documents signed All the basic features are very easy to use. This feature makes it easier for us to create, send, track and receive much-needed documents from our clients as well as internally.,Combing documents. Tracking documents for signature. Editing/converting documents.,While the editing feature is very useful and I love it there is still room for improvement. It is sometimes tricky to grab a specific area or it groups them incorrectly.,10,Improved responses from customer. Decreased time spent chasing customers for documents. Saves effort.,,Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign,7,7,7Adobe Acrobat DC is a great tool for any office!I use Adobe Acrobat DC to create, edit, modify and distribute PDF documents in the form of agreements for events scheduled at our organization. As the event coordinator, I use this product on a daily basis. This product is only used by me in our organization. Adobe Acrobat DC addresses the issues I was having with Adobe Acrobat Reader, where I had limited capabilities when using, creating and modifying PDF documents. With Adobe Acrobat DC, I can make the necessary edits to the documents.,Adobe Acrobat DC is very easy to use to edit already created PDF documents. I work with multiple agreement documents in our organization, and with Adobe Acrobat DC, I can modify the individual agreement forms to personalize to each document. Adobe Acrobat DC is a great tool to create documents, such as flyers or graphics, to distribute on digital marketing platforms. It is very easy to edit the document as you work on it and allows for great creative work. Adobe Acrobat DC allows me to convert formats easily. I am able to move things that are PDFs to Word Documents or PDFs to JPEG images so I can post the created content on our digital marketing platforms.,Adobe Acrobat DC has a learning curve when it comes to working with the software. The program takes some getting used to but overall is not bad. One thing that can get very frustrating is if you are editing a document, you have to click a separate function to "add text" then back to the edit to continue making additional edits. This can get very tedious to switch back and forth constantly. There seem to be unnecessary extra movements that need to be made when editing something, if you want to insert an image it is another function, add text its another function. This can just be time consuming and irritating.,8,Adobe Acrobat DC has made a positive impact by reducing the amount of time I am spending on editing PDF documents through the day. Adobe Acrobat DC has provided me with more tools to create and edit flyers, graphics and digital marketing content. Adobe Acrobat DC has made it easier to convert files to or from PDF documents so I can manage our agreements better.,,Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Photoshop, Google Drive,8,8,8Adobe Acrobat DC is great for accessibilityWe use Adobe Acrobat DC to create PDFs for our website. One of my favorite features of Adobe Acrobat DC is the built-in accessibility checker. As a university, our website must meet ADA requirements and Adobe Acrobat DC allows us to easily make sure all PDFs are accessible before they are uploaded.,Accessibility checker. Adobe Acrobat DC includes an accessibility check tool in the Action Wizard that highlights potential issues and helps you fix them. Form creation. We upload a lot of different forms and Adobe Acrobat DC makes creating fillable forms simple. Combine PDFs. We receive many Word documents that must be combined into a single PDF. Adobe Acrobat DC has a great drag and drop feature so we can see a preview of the pages we are combining and moving in order.,Accessibility hints. While the accessibility tool is great, we often have users who don't know how to fix certain issues. Tool tips would help. Reduce file size without quality loss. Large file sizes can be troublesome for mobile users. Adobe Acrobat DC has tools to save PDFs at a smaller size, but that often means losing overall quality. More options for form distribution. Currently, form distribution only works through email, but expanding that to web integration would be extremely helpful.,9,Adobe Acrobat DC has greatly reduced our number of new accessibility issues. Adobe Acrobat DC is easy enough for most users that request for ADA compliant PDFs no longer come through the web office, so our workflow is much more streamlined. Adobe Acrobat DC has allowed us to generate fillable forms more easily, resulting in less time trying to interpret poor penmanship.,Flip PDF Pro for Mac,Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator CC, SketchGreat for Office Professionals and Individual UsersThe major factor in utilizing Adobe Acrobat DC is the ability to save documents as un-editable. This allows our agencies to publish important documentation without the threat of corruption.,I like the fill and sign feature. Synching feature is very nice. Simplicity for basic tasks with a PDF, although then the thing gets a bit complicated. It has quite a lot of options,What I like the least is its high price. A month is quite expensive. I would like for that price at least to be more agile using heavy pdfs. Sometimes it is not very intuitive to use. Some functions seem hidden to the user. Opening the large pdf documents it makes it to hang,7,This product is a lifesaver in the business world. Support was a little spotty when the program was first implemented but once setup was complete it has been a breeze to use. Adobe Acrobat it's a perfect tool for reading and editing PDFs. I've done much more faster reports based on the summaries of the pdfs by searching the right words, doing partial screenshots, etc. I've created, filled, signed and sent forms easily To save time, create professional looking documents, the ability to protect documents for clients. I have realized that this program has eliminated the headache of switching back and forth between Word documents and new PDFs by having the ability to edit and enhance all in one program,,Microsoft Access

Pros and Cons

  • Combing documents.
  • Tracking documents for signature.
  • Editing/converting documents.
  • While the editing feature is very useful and I love it there is still room for improvement. It is sometimes tricky to grab a specific area or it groups them incorrectly.

Pros and Cons

  • Adobe Acrobat DC is very easy to use to edit already created PDF documents. I work with multiple agreement documents in our organization, and with Adobe Acrobat DC, I can modify the individual agreement forms to personalize to each document.
  • Adobe Acrobat DC is a great tool to create documents, such as flyers or graphics, to distribute on digital marketing platforms. It is very easy to edit the document as you work on it and allows for great creative work.
  • Adobe Acrobat DC allows me to convert formats easily. I am able to move things that are PDFs to Word Documents or PDFs to JPEG images so I can post the created content on our digital marketing platforms.
  • Adobe Acrobat DC has a learning curve when it comes to working with the software. The program takes some getting used to but overall is not bad.
  • One thing that can get very frustrating is if you are editing a document, you have to click a separate function to "add text" then back to the edit to continue making additional edits. This can get very tedious to switch back and forth constantly.
  • There seem to be unnecessary extra movements that need to be made when editing something, if you want to insert an image it is another function, add text its another function. This can just be time consuming and irritating.

Pros and Cons

  • Accessibility checker. Adobe Acrobat DC includes an accessibility check tool in the Action Wizard that highlights potential issues and helps you fix them.
  • Form creation. We upload a lot of different forms and Adobe Acrobat DC makes creating fillable forms simple.
  • Combine PDFs. We receive many Word documents that must be combined into a single PDF. Adobe Acrobat DC has a great drag and drop feature so we can see a preview of the pages we are combining and moving in order.
  • Accessibility hints. While the accessibility tool is great, we often have users who don't know how to fix certain issues. Tool tips would help.
  • Reduce file size without quality loss. Large file sizes can be troublesome for mobile users. Adobe Acrobat DC has tools to save PDFs at a smaller size, but that often means losing overall quality.
  • More options for form distribution. Currently, form distribution only works through email, but expanding that to web integration would be extremely helpful.

Pros and Cons

  • I like the fill and sign feature.
  • Synching feature is very nice.
  • Simplicity for basic tasks with a PDF, although then the thing gets a bit complicated. It has quite a lot of options
  • What I like the least is its high price. A month is quite expensive. I would like for that price at least to be more agile using heavy pdfs.
  • Sometimes it is not very intuitive to use. Some functions seem hidden to the user.
  • Opening the large pdf documents it makes it to hang
