We use PDF files to archive many types of files. We often need to edit and modify PDF documents, and also combine various files into a single document. We also need to make PDF files from different types of documents and files. Adobe Acrobat DC lets us do accomplish all these tasks.
  • Creating PDF files
  • Modifying PDF files
  • Combining multiple files into one PDF document
  • Filling in forms
  • It could be easier to combine files into a single PDF document
  • Sometimes it's hard to include a needed font
  • It would be great to have better control of the file size of edited files
  • Sometimes it's hard to navigate to exactly the right spot in a document.
Adobe Acrobat DC is well-suited to almost any business or individual who needs a full-featured PDF creator/editor, as PDF files are widely used by just about everyone today. It can be used for many purposes, but it's most valuable feature is the ability to create and edit PDF files. If this capability is not needed, then this software would not really be needed.
  • Creativity
  • Versatility
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to edit documents as needed
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
The single most important feature for us is the ability to quickly and easily make and edit PDF documents.
  • Helped us make files / documents available to clients
  • Helped us edit PDF files, which is very much needed
  • Helped us more efficiently archive key documents
We know that Adobe builds robust security features into its products. We often use the feature allowing us to encrypt a PDF file before e-mailing it to a client. This is important because clients ask us to ensure the security of their information. We have not faced any security problems while using Adobe Acrobat DC.
We think that Acrobat is the best choice for creating and modifying PDF files.

2 of the 5 staff members in our small business are expert at using Adobe Acrobat, and they support the others.
  • Filling out forms
  • Editing client PDF documents
  • Updating existing files / documents
  • to prepare documents for use in video editing
  • for simple graphics work
  • for documents used in photoshop work
  • to work collaboratively on documents
This is a very valuable software tool, used in just about all aspects of our work.
Yes
We had used a couple of limited-features PDF creation / editing software, but neither of them could do everything that Acrobat can.
I think that is we were starting anew, we would still end up buying Acrobat, because of its robust feature set, although we might also look at some other software.
  • Implemented in-house
No
Change management was minimal
  • Learning the software
Nothing special.
  • Online Training

Answered basic questions.
Yes, this product can be learned without formal training, but training does help.
Acrobat is so widely used that you can find support on-line and in user groups. Adobe also provides some support.
We did not purchase premium support for Adobe Acrobat. We did not feel that we needed it.
No
This has not happened with us with this product.
  • Editing text
  • Combining files
  • Correcting documents
  • Editing text in a small font
  • Editing text that is very close together
Yes
Using Acrobat on a mobile device is not as easy as using it on a computer. While the app scales to screen size, it is hard to edit complex documents on a mobile phone, Of course, this is true with other apps too. It's best nnot to try to do too much with Acrobat on a phone.
It's easy to use Adobe Acrobat DC across all our devices and operating systems. As a video production and photography company, we use both Mac and Windows computers, as well as iPhones and android phones, and this software helps us work on all of these devices / systems. Without cross platform /device compatibility, we would find this software much less useful.
