  • The whole workspace, the idea that we can set up the workspace in such a way. The reality of it is that not everybody wants to get into that level of detail and get into the weeds. I do feel like Adobe Analytics' workspace is very well suited where I'm really comfortable, helping train some of our folks that have that interest in being able to do their own research to get in and poke around. That definitely makes us happy when the stuff's being used.

  • Well right now we're seeing that it's doesn't really do well in attribution and in cohort modeling where people have longer time spans. So for example, in our case, the typical journey is that they purchase, they don't do anything for 11 months, and then on the 12th month they are returning to renew their subscription. Well since this is cookie based, we see very little use for these cohorts for returning visitors. Unless we would have a way to tell that it's exactly the same person, we see very little return for that. Attribution is another one, and Adobe has this way of always inventing stuff. So when you think you're set, no, there's an actual, another product that you need to buy. I have a shopping list right now after the summit or what it does well, where it's again, the depth of analysis that you can get.

  • Segmentation for sure. We create custom segments out the wazoo, so we are heavily reliant on those and those working as intended every time.
  • The visualizations are a big one. My team leans a little more on the microstrategy side, like creating a data feed and pulling it out of Adobe Analytics, and putting it into microstrategy has been a little bit more of our path, more so from the interactive perspective. But the public access links they showed at the Adobe Summit, I think changes a lot of that. Because my team understands Adobe Analytics more than microstrategy. So bridging that functionality I think is huge.

  • Visuals I would say that's what I use the most, especially when we're looking at different projects that we're working on at the same time. There's just so much availability to customize your current project or task to what Adobe Analytics offers. So it's not like you're having to reinvent the wheel every time. It's just all there.

  • Mostly the segmentation and the custom metrics. The way that it does let us slice and dice the data to get down to the actual data that's important for the business question. When I think about the users that I support and what they do with the tools, just straight analysis, get us to the answer, get us to the data that we want, it's probably the thing that we use the most and that people ask the most about. So that's probably it. I know there are other features that we're not using that probably could also be helpful, but right now that's what we depend on the most, just being able to do those analyses and to dig into that data.

  • The user level so that we can tell if we have a first user repeat user. I think that feature along with tracking the user ID. Sometimes we have been able to match customer journeys between app and website. We want to expand on that and I think we have utilized everything that we can for Adobe Analytics, and we're looking for maybe something better.

  • The time period comparisons really help businesses to see the overall growth of the business. It can be week to week or year to year. That's one of the cool features.
  • Flow reports. Like I said, we can understand the full picture, but again, it's limited to just online and digital. We can also send Adobe's data to the data lake using data sources or data connectors so that we can do some deep dives into the raw data.

  • It can collect dynamic and custom events. So however we architect our website, Adobe allows us to collect the data we care about and to understand that data over time. So that's very powerful. Whether we're using iframes, whether we're using custom JavaScript, whether we're using container logic within mobile development or using something native like Swiss for iOS - Adobe allows the power of capturing that data at the edge where our customers use their devices.

  • It allows to record the customer analytics from different sources and create custom reports.
  • It provides intuitive dashboards which have different features like real time data and delivery of report in email.
  • Integration with third party applications can be easily done.
