This is a bit touchy for me. ROI was better when you could purchase Adobe products. That is harder to calculate with their subscription price structure now. With this new model, ROI goes down if you don't use the tool EVERY DAY. There are times when it isn't necessary for a project I am working on... So that is a negative.

On the flip side, with the subscription model, I always have the "latest, greatest and most updatest" version of the software - so that is a positive.

After getting familiar with the updated interface and working with it for a bit, this is a powerhouse design tool! That is definitely a positive.

Negative. It's quite pricey, but I understand why.

The cost of the Adobe Suite is a little higher than other software's but I find that it provides a higher return on investment than cheaper software.

There is the initial cost to consider. If you are just wanting to experiment or learn vector graphics, it may not be the best option. But if any kind of graphic or design work needs to be done, this is an essential tool

When the tool is known, it can drastically reduce the time spent creating assets. It is powerful and able to implement any vision you have, while at the same time being able to export to any end format you need.

Adobe Illustrator is a tool that can lend a professional and polished look to any product you produce.

Streamlined our process. It would make our design lives so much more clunky and frustrating if we didn't have all the tools and abilities that Adobe Illustrator CC offers.

Time-saving. As said earlier, the ability to edit PDF files has saved us hours upon hours of time, as we otherwise would have had to create such files from scratch.

Limitless Design Possibilities. Often we come up with some interesting and hard-to describe ideas for designs, which can be implemented with all of the options and tools available in Adobe Illustrator. It gives us the freedom to design whatever we think of.

Although I am paid and it's part of my position, Adobe Illustrator CC has saved us thousands of dollars a year because we can create most of what we need in house and don't have to hire other people.

Because we use it in house, I can create something the second I need it. If we outsourced the work, we'd have to wait hours, if not days, to receive what we need.
