[Adobe] Photoshop offers the best photo editing as well as content creation. The layer-by-layer approach of [Adobe] Photoshop helps to work between two apps or even two PCs of entirely different Creative Cloud apps seamlessly. The stability and the speed of the tools in photoshop make it even better to make a canvas of creativity.

Canva is a great tool for creating infographics and it's free with limited options. Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe InDesign are much more suited for creating infographics, however, I still selected Adobe PhotoShop primarily because of my familiarity with all of the tools and hotkeys. There are always workarounds from with Adobe PhotoShop, and I just haven't taken the time to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator CC as effectively.

[Adobe] Photoshop has much more features and abilities compared to its competitors, and often is the first to create a new feature. There is a large learning curve for Photoshop, but for folks that spend years learning Adobe products, it ends up being the most intuitive compared to the other programs out there.

GIMP is a great freeware program when you just don’t have access to a PhotoShop license. It is not quite as robust of a platform and the creative cloud story is not as good, but it is a great alternative to have temporarily in a pinch. As the saying goes, though, you can either do it right or you can do it twice.

Photoshop is a quality with a number of solid features. For graphic design, Photoshop works incredibly well. As for ease of use, for many Photoshop seems easier to pick up than Illustrator. The bonus of Illustrator is that it works with vectors rather than rasterized images. Canva is another graphics design option that is free and easy to use, but lacks the customization that you have with Photoshop.

PhotoShop comes above all. I have used Affinity Photo and GIMP and other software too but never found those PhotoShop features on any other software. Simple reasons why I prefer Photoshop - offers tonnes of features---more than any other software (like Color Grading, Curve Manipulation, and advanced photo retouching)---it has a super large userbase, as we know that a large community gives you good community support. It's compatibility and the Industry level outputs. Photoshop is just cool

I have used some competitor apps a little bit, including Pixelmator, Affinity Photo, and GraphicConverter. These apps are fast, have some cool features, and in some cases do things that Photoshop cannot do, or maybe even do them better or faster. But compared to the full package of Photoshop and available third-party content, they don't really measure up for our purposes.

I found GIMP much harder to navigate and the features not fully fleshed out. In the end, while a free product is great, I felt like I was wasting my own time instead of just paying for Photoshop where I could get the project completed much more quickly and easily.

PhotoShop is far superior to the other programs out there. If you can dream it, you can create it in PhotoShop. I honestly can't imagine my life without it at this point. If there is ONE program out of the whole Adobe Creative Suite that you need, it is Photoshop, because it does it ALL.

PS is a well-known tool for many years and I have been a user since before they used the CS part.
For the flexibility the tool has and all the functions, I never really "completely" switched to other tools, I use other tools for other things. There are ALOT of assets for photoshop on the internet free to paid like brushed, templates, etc. Next to loads of information, tutorials, guides you can find. For that, it's still my number one used tool, and I still keep finding interesting things I can do with it.

Adobe Illustrator is excellent for vector designs and illustrations and Adobe InDesign is excellent for layout work of printed materials like manuals. Adobe Photoshop is the go-to program for photo editing and the trio of programs work well together to cover most needs of a modern marketing and design department.

Canva and Adobe Spark are two programs that are able to accomplish similar tasks as [Adobe] Photoshop. However, Canva and Spark are extremely simplistic when compared to Photoshop. These two apps are perfect for beginners who want to create simple graphics and want help with templates and other suggestions. But if you want complete creative control and the ability to do more complex things graphically, [Adobe] Photoshop is the far better of the three.

Canva is a graphic editing program, but on a basic level. Adobe Photoshop provides a better alternative than Canva for clients who require complex graphic design because of the software's reach and the tools provided available for customizing the graphic design. Even the user interface is easy to use in both. But I prefer Adobe Photoshop.

A lot of information and learning materials to learn to work with photos, almost any question can be found in a simple Google search or on YouTube compared to GIMP, also a nice interface and easier to modify for your personal need. Has much more functionality than other programs such as Canva or other programs.

It's one software that solves all your requirements related to graphics and photo editing. You won't need multiple software to accomplish your tasks. It's the best you can get in the market, which is why it's leading in the market. No other software is near Photoshop.

Other software may work well, and possibly better for some people. But as Photo shop has become the standard, there is no beating the interface and functionality. The ability to work cross-application with native file formats is an immeasurable time and headache saver on a day to day basis. Where you lack simplicity you gain flexibility and power.

Adobe has more quality, more options and has for sure a better outcome than almost all the other products we have used to create graphics. You can see the difference between Adobe and GIMP in a heartbeat. Not saying the other ones are bad, but it is a quality difference based on feature and options u to kings e as a user that is remarkably noticeable.

GIMP could be one of the closes competitors to Photoshop. While it is incredibly full-featured, in my use, it is not nearly as powerful. This is especially true in the development of background recognition, object replacement, and other filters based on artificial intelligence. I find that Photoshop does a better job of allowing you to customize your own individual workflow. For me, the cost difference associated with the choice is worth paying to get the extras that Photoshop has to offer.

Because I get used to photoshop easily, Photoshop is the first editing available in the market and it has lots of youtube tutorials available to learn how to use the application. And a lot of users and using photoshop and there are learning centers you can enroll to be a professional editor.

GIMP is a nice free/open-source alternative to Photoshop, but it isn't as powerful and the UI is not as nice to work with. Affinity Photo is the closest competitor in my mind, but I find the time to make an edit vs Photoshop is longer. Photoshop remains the best tool for the type of work that we do. They continue to make meaningful updates that keep it in front of the competition.

Photoshop is the premiere (no pun intended) photo-editing and manipulation tool on the market. There is no equal to its ease-of-use, robust capabilities, and affordability. It's a much more cumbersome and clunky experience using alternative software. The other software adds more time to my efforts and the capabilities are not nearly as mature as they are in Photoshop.

I really haven't evaluated another tool because Photoshop has always been the standard in the industry, and the program you learn how to use when you are into this. Before I learn how to use Photoshop I used to edit into Canvas.com which is a really easy software to use, but your results don't precisely look as professional.

GIMP has been the leading alternative to Adobe Photoshop for years. Not only is it a free and competent alternative, but for those who opt for free operating systems like Linux, it has historically been the priority option.

In my opinion, it has always been weighed down by a somewhat amateurish image, from which that somewhat Cobi- scale pet does not escape. Come on, it's ugly and its UI is not very there (although pay attention to this fork/variant called Glimpse, which promises), but you have to know how to look through and recognize the enormous work of the community. With a little patience, you will see that GIMP is very similar to Photoshop and will allow you to perform the vast majority of tasks.

When I discovered Photopea the truth is that I was quite amazed that something running on the web was so powerful. It is a very successful Photoshop clone, which runs in the browser with HTML5. Its compatibility is incredible, even opening. PSD files (editable from Photoshop) and.CXF (those from GIMP), apart from other formats such as Sketch and RAW photographs. It also supports the same Photoshop keyboard shortcuts, which makes it more than an alternative, a lifesaver program that you can use from anywhere or on a connected device.

On the other hand, Canva is like a boon. It can be used by a newbie easily.

Adobe Photoshop has more enhanced features. It has a bunch of tools that were missing in others. A wide variety of tasks can be done like Photo Editing, Logo Creating, GUI Designing, etc. Photoshop also has a powerful tool for Graphics Animation. Website layout can be done in an easy way by using different layers on the same image.
