A big help in editing photos. From raw copy to a majestic photo finish. Lots of improvement. From its original version way back. With photoshop enhancing photos has been become so easy nowadays. Even we can put additional layouts, design on a simple photo will become more artistic.
  • From raw photo to great copy.
  • Additional features or designs.
  • Size of version.
Photo become easy nowadays because of editing. You can take a raw copy and edit thru photoshop and the photo will become lively. Most of the artists nowadays are very professional in editing. Even in smart mobiles we can install Photoshop app and edit old photos.

  • The cheaper price of other apps.
Because I get used to photoshop easily, Photoshop is the first editing available in the market and it has lots of youtube tutorials available to learn how to use the application. And a lot of users and using photoshop and there are learning centers you can enroll to be a professional editor.

It is a big help for us we dont need to hire people who will do our marketing collaterals for us, our inside.marketing team can do it because they own a license
I will be more willing to be trained and study photoshop if I will to evaluate again. I can see the benefits of its functionality and benefits not just on the corporate aspect but on the personal use. It's good that Photoshop has a mobile application ready. It's easy to edit photo

Yes they have mobile app interface but for me it's hard to use. It's not comfortable using the photoshop in a small screen, small touchpad, it is still more convenient to use in a computer, in a large monitor so you cna see properly the design that you are doing
Photoshop is only used by our marketing department
When it come to Photoshoo availability we can buy it right away. It only take 7 days to provide the license key.

Adobe Photoshop is used throughout our department here at work. It is being used to edit photos, mostly, to then be used for traditional or electronic-based marketing channels. We can easily adjust any photos that we take of our products to be used on any marketing collateral or web-based model.
  • Edit Photos. Exactly what it's meant for. Easy to edit photos to be used in other projects.
  • Take out backgrounds. Saves company time and money. We no longer pay for someone else to take out the background out of product photos. We do that all here in-house.
  • Color adjust. Any time we need the color to be adjusted in a photo, we can easily do that with Photoshop.
  • I would like to see Photoshop upgrade their program so that I can adjust the size of a photo by #, rather than dragging and estimating, then having to do it again after I didn't get the right size the first time.
  • Online tutorials are great and a lifesaver for me. When I need to figure out how to do something, I go to the search for info on how to do it. Wish there was more!
Photoshop is perfect for the person who needs to edit photos. This program is not meant to design, that's what you use InDesign or Illustrator for. So if you need to edit photos, anything can really be done with this program. They have really updated this program throughout the years to be able to do a LOT!
  • This has paid for itself ten-fold. We no longer outsource to take backgrounds out of product photos for collateral.
  • This has saved us time on projects as we no longer have to outsource and wait on others to then finish our projects internally.
  • Sometimes, we are not as highly trained, and you do need a professional for some projects. I wish the program was a little more user-friendly (dummy proof!).
All of the Adobe products can be used seamlessly together! There really is no other photo editing program out there quite like Photoshop. Because it is so widely used, you can seamlessly work with outsourced projects if you need to. Also, the files are easily accepted by print houses, advertising agencies, etc.
I can't say I have ever called Adobe support so not sure I can give a rating here. The online has a pretty good Q&A, but I mostly Google search and get recommendations from others who have used the product, not necessarily from Adobe. I feel support could be better.

All 5 members work within the Marketing Department. We all have different roles, but all use Photoshop in the same way. We use it to edit photos for multiple projects including print, ads, banners, newsletters, on and on. We all do marketing for the entire company, so photoshop is an essential program we need.
5
somw are self taught, and some took a class. I personally took a course which did help get me started. After that, continued use helps establish knowledge and know how of how to use it. Also, the online tutorials help to know how to do some things that you don’t know how to, but would like to do for a project
  • Online ads
  • Newsletters
  • Edit product pictures to use in marketing collateral
  • We’ve been able to blend two photos together to show something we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to.
  • We can change the color of something in a photo to be in line with the brand.
  • We can change the size of photos so that they are exact to what we need for the website
  • Edit photos for social media
  • We might be doing podcasts so eye catching photos will be key
  • Edit photos of those that work within the company to use online or on our blog
I can’t live without photoshop. Unless if someone comes out with something better, I’ll be using this until the end of time. Once you use it, you won’t want to use anything else. Our purchase had already paid for itself... if you had to outsource the work we can do in-house, you’d be paying way more.

You can use Photoshop in combination with other adobe products seamlessly. This is handy when working on a project . Illustrator and OnDesign can be used in conjunction. You can use the adobe suite of products to publish professional projects. I use photoshop every day in the professional work place
Well there is really nothing quite like photoshop so I don’t think there is a choice. It’s widely used and extremely useful.. so what choice do you really have.
  • Implemented in-house
No
  • Workers getting to know how to use it.
  • Taking a course
I took a course so it really helped. I didn’t take the course until much later after beginning to use it, so I wish work would have sent me right off the bat. It would have alleviated a lot of frustratinon
No
It’s not really necessary as there are a lot of online tutorials that help you through a number of different projects. Instead of paying for support I suggest taking a local course with a trained professional. Become the expert and you don’t need further help!
No
I followed an online tutorial and was able to do something I’ve never done before. So easy to pause, do it , and follow along again. I blended two photos to show something I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to depict.
  • Edit size of photos
  • Take out background of pictures
  • Change colors in a picture
  • Taking out background
  • Resizing photos before inserting them into another photo
You really must take time to learn this program. It can be difficult and you really should take a course. This can be extremely frustrating and confusing to use, but after you get the know how things get easier.

Photoshop is essential in my workflow. When I wake up it’s the first software that I open on my pc. I work all day on my PC drawing and designing characters, and environments and props for video games and films. That’s why Photoshop is so important.

The software gives me total freedom thanks to the performance and tools to draw without restrictions. Some examples include things like the actions that help you to be faster at work; the smart objects that make less destructive workflow and of course the huge list of plugins to help me to create better and faster assets in Photoshop. You can find everything that you need for Photoshop from a simple plugin that makea few color adjustments to color wheels and advanced photo filters. The resources are endless. That’s why Photoshop is for me the best software for someone who spends all day long on a PC.

  • The price is just great with the new subscription so i can rent the software for a year and all the updates, even the major ones like major versions (cc 2014 to cc 2015) are included in the subscription.
  • The huge amount of resources for Photoshop
  • The compatibility with other software
  • The experience using photoshop is smooth
  • Lack of symmetry tools
  • They need to improve the 3D texturing inside photoshop
  • You need a good PC to run the software
Photoshop is well suited for any digital artistic work, like photo edition, drawing, web design, and product design. It is less appropriate for vector illustration, you can use Photoshop but the tools don't work very well to do that, if you're looking for a PolyPaint tool photoshop will give you more problems than solutions.
  • If you work as a concept artist, you'll have the investment as fast as you work, in my case it was less than a month with the new year subscription plan.
  • corel painter, paint tool SAI and clip paint studio
Photoshop is the standard in the industry, and the reason that I'm still using photoshop is because of the flexibility of the software. I'm talking about brushes, plugins and constant updates. Any other software will receive updates each year, meanwhile photshop has an improved performance, new tools or fixes every 4 or 6 months. The compatibility is something that I like about photoshop; the psd files can be opened on any other software.

I've been a Photoshop user since the first version of creative suite (CS).
  • I implement Photoshop for every project that I do.
  • The use for mobile devices apps
  • To develop tools to be faster at work
Well, I just can't imagine my workflow without Photoshop.
Yes
Corel Painter, because of the price of the license/upgrades.
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Product Reputation
  • Prior Experience with the Product
Well I'd check the brush engine that the software has and the plugins.
  • Implemented in-house
No
Change management was minimal
  • Less problems when the client sends files.
The implementation of Photoshop is pretty easy, almost every artist that has a Wacom or other drawing tablet will learn Photoshop in a short amount of time.
No
because pay for the license to get support during the subscription.
The support team is great, but it's more likely that other users will help you.
I don't remember any specific time, the support is always great.
  • Smart objects
  • Actions
  • Brush creation
  • Maybe if you're a total beginner, you must learn the shortcuts and how to use the layers and the blending options.
Yes, but I don't use it
It's really easy to use, if you have a Wacom device. Photoshop will be like a canvas or a blank page that is ready to draw or sketch on.

Adobe Photoshop is used on a daily basis at Issuer Direct. As head of the Graphic Design department, I rely on Photoshop for all of my image editing. I find the program superior to other editors that are in the market today. Whether I'm doing minor editing or creating in-depth graphics, Photoshop never lets me down.
Ever since Photoshop has been introduced into the organization, the response has gone through the roof. Gone are the days of boring text and plain images!
  • Excellent image resizing. Never are the company images pixelated, distorted, or blurry. Clients are always pleased with the level of work that they receive.
  • Produces clean, crisp graphics that can be used on a daily basis. Anything from designing brochures and flyers, to creating full-color Annual Reports.
  • The possibilities are endless. Your only barrier is your imagination.
  • I wish Adobe Photoshop implemented some sort of Spelling / Grammar check.
  • Adding a feature to create a gradient, similar to Adobe Illustrator, would be very helpful.
Photoshop is great for creating an image, especially if you know the final size needed. It is not so great if you create a smaller image that needs to ultimately be in a larger format, because it will render with a slight blur, or pixel-ed look. If you are not sure of the final size, then creating an image in Adobe Illustrator would be the better choice, as it is vector based, making it easy to resize without issue.
  • Positive - Print materials are much more engaging with the help of Photoshop.
  • Positive - Photoshop was crucial in building a new website, as it made everything more visually stimulating.
  • Negative / Positive - Colleagues and clients now expect nothing but the best!

I am the Lead Graphic Designer, and I use Photoshop on a daily basis. I'm responsible for creating items such as brochures, flyers, Annual Reports, stock transfer certificates, and the corporate website. I also have the privilege of using Photoshop for building social media images, web banners, large-scale convention banners, and various financial materials.
It requires a very competent person, with an eye for design and composition to operate Adobe Photoshop. Said person should also be proficient working with both a PC and a Mac, although Mac seems to be the preferred device. A beginner may feel fairly lost when first opening the program, but it does not take long to learn your way around. You just need time, and not have the fear of making mistakes.
  • Creating supporting, engaging images for the corporate website.
  • Creating original, eye-catching brochures.
  • Designing covers for Annual Reports.
  • Building and maintaining strong brand recognition.
  • Creating Stock Transfer Certificates.
  • Setting up and maintaining a strong social media presence.
  • Used for opening and editing PDF documents.
  • Designing templates for various products.
  • Creating secure PDF documents.
  • Creating mock-ups for various services.
I gave a rating of 10 because I feel like Adobe Photoshop is crucial in my day-to-day operation. Although the program is massive, and the possibilities are endless, the user interface still seems very intuitive and smooth. I would recommend Photoshop to anybody in the Graphic Design field, or to anybody that is trying to improve their overall brand.
Yes
CorelDraw was once used, but did not produce the same result as Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop's user interface is much easier to navigate. It was also near impossible to go from any other Adobe program to CorelDraw. There was always some sort of compatibility issue, where as, with Photoshop, moving between Adobe programs is seamless. After finding Photoshop, CorelDraw has become a thing of the past.
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Product Reputation
  • Prior Experience with the Product
The single most important factor in deciding to purchase Adobe Photoshop was the product usability. I need something that was very versatile, and had the power to edit / create anything that was thrown at me. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend Photoshop to any designer wanting to make a name for themselves.
I would not change a thing. Selecting Adobe Photoshop has proven to be very profitable, and provides me all the options that I could ever imagine. Photoshop is well worth the purchase, or at the very least, using on a trial basis. If I had to choose one thing to do differently, I would have started with the cloud-based offering as opposed to purchasing the creative suite separately.
  • Implemented in-house
No
Change management was minimal
  • Long downloads
  • There were no other issues
  • At all
Nope, everything was smooth.
I give them a strong nine, only for the fact that there is always room for improvement. I have never had an issue when dealing with customer support. They have always been very helpful and attentive towards my needs and requests. If a representative can not immediately give you an answer, they will do their best to solve the problem, and get back to you with a quickness.
No
After Purchasing the Adobe Cloud-Based product I was having trouble installing it onto my machine (Mac). I gave Adobe Customer Support a phone call, and they were able to quickly and accurately walk me through the installation process, giving me access to Photoshop in a matter of minutes. Everything has been great since then.
  • Resizing Images.
  • Making quick edits to photos or pictures.
  • Batch-Processing comes in handy when dealing with multiple images.
  • Creating gradients
  • Converting a smaller image into a larger one without losing quality.
  • Text editing can be cumbersome without spell check or grammar check.
Yes, but I don't use it
The overall usability of Adobe Photoshop is a nine. I say this because if you know what you are doing, great. If not, there are more than enough tutorials or examples online that can help you get on your way. Upon first glance, it can be intimidating, but you get adjusted quickly after a few trial runs.
Adobe Photoshop is very reliable, but is never 100%. There have been times when Adobe Photoshop has had trouble opening, but nothing a little computer restart couldn't fix. I use Adobe Photoshop on a Mac for both work and at home on a daily basis, and I would be lost without it.

Adobe Photoshop is our go-to image editor for our Marketing and Design department at the university website, image editing, etc. Photoshop is used across campus on an as-needed basis depending on user and department needs.
  • Adobe Photoshop is the best image editor on the market. We can easily update image quality for the website and print publications using Photoshop.
  • Photoshop is by-far the best program for image optimization for the web. With multiple tools to use for the best quality without large file-size, I couldn't do without it.
  • Although I have no major changes suggested for Photoshop, I would love to have images open with a smaller screen instead of taking up the entire screen upon opening.
  • Photoshop it not a program for the inexperienced. I have been using the product for almost 20 years, and still learn techniques that are new to me.
Adobe Photoshop is THE editor for images. For building flat files with a limited number of colors, there are more efficient programs in the Adobe collection. Because Photoshop is an advanced program, I would recommend the product to only users on our campus with the knowledge and expertise to use the program.
  • With the ease of use, we can edit images quickly to the best available quality (look and feel) needed for our website.
  • Images can easily be updated and saved directly to our server with administrative rights.
  • The program is more expensive than many image editing programs. However, the end-result for experienced users brings the best quality available. Photoshop does have a learning curve.
As an experienced Photoshop user, I am happy that they product is updated upon each new release. The internet is full of online tutorials to assist with learning new techniques.
I have been an Adobe Photoshop user for many, many years, since the mid-90's. I am always excited for an upgrade to Photoshop. Adobe has greatly improved over the years in keeping with trends and ease-of-use. While there is a learning curve, those who have experience with photo editing will find Photoshop with great capabilities.

We recommend Photoshop on our campus only to those with experience in editing photos. There are probably around 20-25 users on campus with experience using Photoshop.

At times, the support at Adobe can be a bit frustrating with the language barrier. The support team seems to be reading from a script and will repeat everything you say back to them several times. Luckily, I have not had to use tech support with Adobe software but a few times.
No
Yes. When I needed to re-install the program upon a computer crash. The support person I ran across was very helpful and quick to assist me.
  • The tool-bar is easy to use and easy to find.
  • Editing image size is easy to use.
  • Anything above minor photo edits do require time. But the end-result is worth it.
Because of my experience, i can give Photoshop a higher rating. Users with no experience with Photoshop will have the learning curve.
