Adobe PhotoShop

They represent the marketing department. Their task is to create marketing collaterals, marketing contents for the company. They use photoshop to edit photos, collage photos and to make the photo lively and appealing to customers.Adobe Photoshop is very useful in creating a marketing contents, and it helps them be more inaginative.

Photography and video production

We are a small Marketing/Communication team at a private university. We utilize Photoshop primarily for social media, website imagery, a quarterly magazine, and some smaller print media pieces throughout the year. I use Photoshop largely for resizing and cropping images, as well as some minor graphic work, while my two co-workers go more in depth while using Photoshop for lighting adjustments and retouches.

The people in my organization that use PhotoShop are graphic designers and social media managers. We use the images in our social media for clients in banners, email headers, and occasionally in print. We have an internal training with my team with standards that are directly applicable to their work inside of PhotoShop (and the images that they produce with the program).

All 5 members work within the Marketing Department. We all have different roles, but all use Photoshop in the same way. We use it to edit photos for multiple projects including print, ads, banners, newsletters, on and on. We all do marketing for the entire company, so photoshop is an essential program we need.

They are all artists for various departments and their jobs vary.

Concept artist

They are our design team. They edit photos for web, bill boards, flyers and special events. They create and manage websites and also use photoshop to edit and touch up hundreds of photos a year. After a shoot, we'll come back with, usually, between 10,000 & 15,000 depending on the number of shoot days. They narrow it down to about 100 selects and start editing from there.

Various marketing funcitons

I am the Lead Graphic Designer, and I use Photoshop on a daily basis. I'm responsible for creating items such as brochures, flyers, Annual Reports, stock transfer certificates, and the corporate website. I also have the privilege of using Photoshop for building social media images, web banners, large-scale convention banners, and various financial materials.

We recommend Photoshop on our campus only to those with experience in editing photos. There are probably around 20-25 users on campus with experience using Photoshop.

They represent design and marketing functions as well as the service department. Photoshop SC6 is used by our web design team to create design and layout for web development. Our graphic designer also uses Photoshop to create materials for marketing and product promotions. Photoshop is also used by our design team to restore photos and to prepare images for the web and digital presentations.

We do not have a marketing or engineering department other than me. I use it for preparing images for the web, printing and adding effects to images and logos.
