  • Working with Adobe XD, it saves a lot of time where you can achieve your goals.
  • There is no working hour tracking system. If there is one then it should be valuable in some scenario.
  • If your file get crashed in unexpected way. There is not option to recover it. But that rarely happens.

  • The app is free, so ROI is hard to estimate. The workflow is similar to what you would expect from other apps in this space, so it is definitely worth trying to see if it is a good fit.
  • We also own a license to its main competitor, Sketch, and use both apps. Compared to the value of the apps themselves, all of the main prototyping apps in our toolset are cheap.

  • Clients projects are always full of constant and real-time changes. Continuously making changes in the actual code of the project isn't always possible, and it can make a huge impact on the time and money of that particular software company. So we use Adobe XD as a final designing tool. We make all prototypes and wireframes and then forward it to the client so they can test it. After approval, we start of project development. This process will take some time but after this possibilities of constant changes will be nullified. This process is costing our company around $300 annually to purchase Adobe XD but it is helping us save thousands of dollars.

  • The time it takes to design in Adobe XD is significantly faster. Saving time.
  • It boosts productivity, causing better ideas to be created.
  • It's easy to use and quick to learn. Not much of a learning curve so we can get to work pretty quickly.

  • The ease of building wireframes lets ideas get processed and developed quickly, reducing cost.
  • Building wireframes & prototypes has let stakeholders and users do some early testing to discover problems before going to the development process.

  • Adobe XD has a lot of time-saving features (e.g., Repeat Grid Button / Drag and drop Assets).
  • Could save thousands of dollars designing prototype in-house rather than using outside consultants.

  • On projects where we've used it we were able to get interactive demos in front of stakeholders quickly without using multiple apps.
  • Limited functionality is free to use and it's already available to use as part of the Creative Cloud license, so there's not really any cost for us to use it other than time.
  • The time cost could be negated if the tool became something that we could use for developer collaboration and design system lifecycle management.
