Users appreciate the daily email updates from Affinity, which provide social media or news mentions of prospects, enabling personalized outreach. The software serves as a comprehensive CRM across organizations, effectively organizing potential and existing clients. Users find it easy to enter and track interactions between interested parties, ensuring that no important details are missed.

In addition to its CRM capabilities, Affinity's suite of tools for editing photos and creating graphic designs makes it highly valuable for users who work with videos and photographs regularly. The freedom to edit photos and create designs without a monthly subscription is a major advantage that users appreciate. Affinity Photo and Designer have gained popularity as budget alternatives to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, providing a more affordable solution for small companies. Despite being more cost-effective, Affinity's features provide a nearly indistinguishable set of capabilities compared to Adobe products, making it an attractive choice for users seeking quality photo and design tools. Furthermore, Affinity is frequently used by venture capital firms to manage relationships with prospective investments and other investors. Its list features enable easy organization and sorting of contacts based on priority, location, status, and last contact date. This allows users to efficiently track and manage their relationships while maintaining clear visibility of data and generating reports to improve communication within organizations.

  2. Limited features with paid subscription: Several reviewers have mentioned that they were disappointed to find that certain features in Affinity are only available with a paid subscription. They suggested that having a preview or trial of these features before committing to payment would be helpful.

Affinity has been essential in putting together marketing packages for our clients. We only want to work with the highest quality tools in our efforts, and after years of using competitive products, we are delighted with the results we are now achieving. The suite of tools is the best on the market.
  • EASE OF USE
  • USER INTERFACE
  • LITTLE UNDERSTANDING OUTSIDE OF AFFINITY MARKET
  • HOW NEW THE TOOLS ARE
I first started to use Affinity related tools with Serif in 2004. When these tools became available, I started using them, and much to my surprise of the people that use Affinityit is now universally accepted. More people will use this in the future due to the total cost and value it brings.
  • Positive - I can now do more than ever before
  • Positive - I can do it for less cost
The product appears to be just as powerful for what I need. Affinity is easier to use, and the results I get are phenomenal. The tools are inexpensive, so my colleagues can also purchase them to use with me. Right now, I am a pleased and excited Affinity user. Also, I have more in my pocket to spend on other tools.
I have not had much opportunity to go directly to support, but the training modules that are employed by the company are fantastic. I also find that if I need to understand something, there is always another user ready and willing to share their secrets. As this tool becomes more accepted local communities will also start to organize

We use Affinity Photo and Designer as budget alternatives to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. For our small company, it's a much more affordable solution, and provides an almost unnoticeable feature set for a fraction of the cost. For companies that have a more robust/historical graphic design business, it may not be a 1:1 solution, but for us, we haven't looked back. For a small set of users on Photo and Designer, Adobe has no answer.
  • Almost all of Adobe Photoshop's features for a fraction of the cost. It was an easy decision for our organization.
  • The interface and most of the features are an almost mirror image of Photoshop. Flat fees instead of high yearly fees are much more desirable for our small team.
  • They have a great support forum for the little one-offs that aren't quite like the Photoshop app, or don't have the same exact name as Photoshop. The forum really helps when this happens. The YouTube support from the company and other users has been very helpful as well.
  • I use Sketch as my primary vector design tool. Affinity allows me to take a .ai, .eps, or other proprietary format and convert it to .svg for use/manipulation with Sketch and back. I can't say enough for this feature. It has helped me stay less pigeon-holed into Adobe products, which have lacked innovation for a long time in my opinion.
  • If you're a long time Adobe user of Photoshop or Illustrator, there is a learning curve, but it's not too major. This learning curve was well worth the cost of admissions for our organization.
  • I'd like to see them use the same names for certain features as Adobe's products, but feel like licensing/copyright concerns as the reasoning behind this. Overall, the transition has been smooth from Adobe to Affinity.
  • They just recently released their Publisher program for print designs, similar to InDesign. They're a little late to the game in this arena, but I'm very interested in a low-cost alternative to Adobe. I wonder how they'll compare to other competitors like Canva in the space?
For small, fast-changing design/photo editing teams, it's a no brainer. More seats for less cost and an almost unnoticeable difference in the feature set. For older, more established or antiquated teams, you almost have to stick with Adobe. I know which side we're on. Innovation, a.k.a. Affinity. If you or your clients require specific formats like .psd, .ai, or .eps, Affinity can give you an alternative or more robust options to manipulate those files.
  • It has reduced our cost per seat as compared to Adobe's solution, but for our small team, it's a great savings.
  • Some of our most experienced designers griped a bit at first, but came around fairly quickly. Well worth the cost savings we are still benefiting from.
  • Affinity has allowed us to save cost, and still produce solid designs with a negligible difference to our clients or employees for that matter. Our clients absolutely did not notice, while the savings really helped our bottom line.
Adobe is the most established in the industry, but Affinity is the young, scrappy alternative, that is more cost-effective ta boot. If you have even a small bit of flexibility, or are new, try this instead of Adobe's products - you'll be glad you did. We also used a (mostly) online tool called Pixlr which offered a few features of Photoshop, but was really only for resizing photos, etc. Not as full-featured. Affinity is by far the best balance of cost and features.
I don't have direct experience with a member of Affinity's support, but their forum and YouTube videos that other users have made make it relatively easy to find similar features in Affinity that are available in Photoshop or Illustrator. The differences are negligible for our small, yet experienced team.

As someone who uses videos and photographs regularly alongside my husband/partner, we have found it to be an amazingly useful tool when it comes to editing our photos and creating graphic designs. It allows us the freedom to do this without a monthly subscription as other programs have.
  • Color manipulation.
  • Photo editing.
  • Graphic design.
  • Exporting as different files.
  • I have found some of the tools to be particular. I have to click them in a certain order for it to work.
  • Ability to alter or move the icons displayed.
  • Auto-save as you work.
If you already understand how to use PhotoShop but don't use it often enough to justify the monthly expense, Affinity is a great option. Affinity is a one time purchase and the layout is very similar to Photoshop. You will be able to adjust fairly quickly to using Affinity.
  • Very quick ROI due to the low cost.
  • One time expense VS monthly expense.
  • Ability to adjust from Photoshop easily.
For a regular user of Photoshop, Affinity is a very easy transition. It has all the same features and once you adapt to it, and it provides a quick return on investment.
Adobe never falls short when it comes to customer support. They have not become who they are by dismissing legitimate concerns. If you do not know how to use photo editing software I would not rely on their support to teach you. They can help if you something is wrong with their software or helping find the location of a certain function, but editing software is intricate and detailed and is not something a phone support rep can assist you with learning.

Nudge.ai is being used by sales and business development. It is a great source of intel on target companies and individuals. The daily email is reviewed for social media or news mentions, which can then be used in outreach to the prospect. Something like, "Congratulations on being named an employee of the year," gives us a great way to stay connected and top of mind.
  • Locates social media and news mentions of target companies and individuals
  • Integrates seamlessly with Gsuite Gmail
  • Info is presented in a very user-friendly manner
  • The Gsuite add-on can be a little intrusive in that it takes up screen real estate
  • Web dashboard is a little busy, so it can be overwhelming out the gate
  • Some of the features are only available with the paid subscription—giving a "taste" would be helpful in assessing whether to pay or not
Nudge.ai is well suited for individual contributors without enough time or resource to do proper research on clients/prospects. It may work as well for larger teams, but I don't have experience using Nudge.ai in that environment. Nudge.ai is easy to use, so the onboarding and ramp-up time is quick.
  • Haven't quantified, but saves hours of personal time researching.
  • Keeping contacts/prospects top of mind keeps them from slipping away, so helps to avoid loss of revenue.
  • Brings contacts/companies not on your target list into view, so adding pipeline and potential revenue.
Nudge.ai is in a fairly unique space. It isn't quite a CRM, it isn't quite a social or news channel. But, it has aspects of all. Nudge.ai was chosen because it allowed us to use one tool for multiple purposes. LinkedIn Sales Navigator is probably the closest to Nudge.ai but is less automated. Sales Navigator requires more setup and care and feeding. Nudge.ai just kind of works.
1
The business functions represented by the person in our organization using Nudge.ai are sales and business development. Nudge.ai is a prospecting tool, we also use the tool to find mentions and news to give us reasons to reach out to our prospects. We do something very similar for existing clients.
1
Nudge.ai is very easy to use, so we really don't need anyone specific with specific skills to support it. The users are their own support team, using online support/help desk for any questions. Nudge.ai runs very smoothly for us, and we don't expect to need to bring in support folks in the future.
  • Find social mentions for prospects
  • Find news mentions for prospects
  • Find social and news mentions for clients to give an additional touchpoint
  • Unearth new sales opportunities by reading industry-specific mentions in Nudge
  • Keep on top of key contact activities through social mentions and news mentions
  • As a way to prep for meetings by reviewing Nudge data prior to meeting
  • Setting up watch groups
We will definitely be renewing. The value for the price we are paying is solid, and we are interested in growing our use to see if we can expand on the value we are getting from Nudge.ai.
Nudge.ai is fairly intuitive, so the need for support is minimal. I have only had to reach out to the support team a couple of times for minor issue. The response has been quick and issues resolved to my satisfaction in a reasonable time frame. I have no issues with Nudge support at this time.
Not Available
I was having trouble getting Nudge to sync up with my Gsuite Gmail account. It had been working, and then stopped. I was able to reach out to Support and get a super quick response. My expectation was that it would take a day or so, but I had the answer I needed in a matter of minutes.
