Reviews
(1-25 of 140)Airtable is great for keeping track of project statuses and what the rest of the team is doing
- Keeping track of project statuses
- See who's working on which project
- Add details to project statuses, like contact name, when it's due, etc.
- More user friendly aspects
- Tutorial
- Maybe a more in depth set of instructions as well, as there are a lot of features
As good as you make it
- Managing rows as items
- Flexible setup that gets the most out of the tool
- Intuitive integrations
- Logical behavior (Functions behave as expected)
- Just works
- Can get spendy
- More features before paywall
- More mobile functionality
- It lets me see my data how I want to see it. I can create different views and sort them in almost every way imaginable.
- I can test ideas out quickly there in a simple roadmap type setup.
- There are 100's maybe 1000's of templates prebuilt to use, but it can also come blank to create your own. So if you're stuck, you can find what you need.
- It's a great tool to build other tools. As an example, we used it as a CRM while looking and testing others. It ended up that we just use Airtable now.
- It's not cheap if you're using the premium with a team. You can do so much without the premium it's not worth it to have your whole team on the paid plan.
- Sometimes I wish it acted a little more like Google Sheets. Though it has the capabilities it's still not a spreadsheet.
- I would like to see it cleaned up on mobile. It's ok, but I don't like using it on my phone.
Catch some Airtable
- Color coding various types of content makes it easy to see, at a glance, what is coming up for marketing initiatives.
- Airtable has amazing templates built out to help you get started quickly.
- If you don’t want to use a template, you have the freedom to customize the template for exactly what you need.
- We are able to store user personas, keywords, types of content, etc. and access it all in one view.
- It would be really helpful if Airtable had a stronger “onboarding” or “how-to-use” when sharing the table to a client or other user.
A Small Business Hero
Airtable helps us as a small business since we can’t always justify a bespoke solution. Instead, we can come up with creative solutions in Airtable without having to hire someone to build a custom tool.
- Customization
- Data linking
- Intuitive UI
- Data display
- More formulas
- Better data visualization
Document and data storage that actually works
- Project management
- Document storage

Awesome product with a wonderful team

Here's what this software brings to the table!
- Direct connection from forms to database
- Easy to learn and use
- Great for small organizations who are looking to grow
- Data doesn't work well with our Google Suite products
- Not sure when to use different bases and different sheets within one base
- Social sharing isn't as customizable and shows up with AirTable branding
Airtable helps keep you organized and improves workflow
- Easy to use and implement.
- Clean UI/UX.
- Extremely versatile and you can also export to excel if needed.
- I don’t have much to add here because I don’t have any other needs that this doesn’t provide.
- Maybe if there was a version that was not only a web app since some organizations can not use this for compliance reasons since it is a web application.
- I feel even the free version of this is extremely helpful and has many features.
Airtable is the ultimate business duct-tape
- No code business process software.
- Upgrade from google sheets.
- Test app concepts without spending large amounts of cash.
- Cost.
- Can have a steep learning curve.
- Sometimes not 100% reliable in production environments.
- Fast no-code solutions.
- Gluing together multiple API-centric apps.
- Building out lightweight databases to prove out ideas.
- Replacing complex chains of Google Sheets.
Inappropriate:
- Critical production environments.
- Cost-sensitive orgs (much more expensive than Google Sheets).
Airtable is colourful and does tables well!
- Organization.
- Colour coding.
- Ability to move items around/flexible.
- Some of the best features are paid only (I would prefer to have access to all features as a free user, but have a limit on number of tables or people instead).
Airtable for Live Events
- Sharing and distribution.
- Privacy and security.
- User friendly.
- Editing and backtracking on mistakes.
- Pasting from large Excel files.
- Exporting to Excel.
Airtable makes creating a database a breeze
- Makes it easy to visualize table and spreadsheet data in multiple ways.
- Enables less tech-oriented teams to build a solution for managing business data that doesn't require a separate web app to be built to do so.
- Would like to see continued improvement and additions to the innovative blocks feature.
- While it has some project management features, it is not the ideal project management tool.
An Excellent Database Solution!
- Airtable has a great dashboard that simplifies finding what you need!
- There are great video tutorials with step-by-step instructions.
- More example bases would be helpful.
- Importing could be a little easier.
Airtable# Best CRM# Create # Manage # Happy clients
- Airtable is an excellent CRM tool. Helps in managing data in the form of spreadsheets and task management. All tasks are well managed with all details and deadlines.
- It is used for Project Management, where all team members can track project progress and work within defined deadlines.
- Another major strength is that data is managed by key values, one to one or one to many relations.
- One significant missing functionality is the lack of communication modes for internal communication using Airtable.
- Synchronization of data sometimes results in a violation of integrity.
- Airtable has its application version for both android and IOS; IOS application needs major revisions as it has a lot of crashes.
Manage projects and databases with minimum effort
- Useful for project management and data analysis.
- Improved calendar feature.
- A nice mobile application that is accessible at any time.
- Using complex formulas.
- It takes time to fully understand using the platform.
- It needs better visualization tools, like making charts and graphs.
Alright product but challenging to use at times
- Beautiful UI
- Good customer support
- Responsive design
- Very complex and cumbersome to use.
- Confusing amount of filters and almost too much stuff in there.
- Long onboarding.
Airtable works for me
- Airtable helps to track the progress of recruiting.
- We can link candidate documents like resumes and portfolio with candidate data.
- We can hold various team members responsible for their roles.
- We would like it if Airtable did not require our clients to have a separate account in order to share the table.
- It would also be nice if Airtable had a more robust search feature.
- Airtable has a lot of features that could be more intuitive, but the help guides work well.
Airtable is Amazing!
- Easy to use platform.
- Amazing service.
- Templates to help get you started.
- Free plans are surprisingly great.
- It would be nice to get more emails explaining things.
Airtable is a great (but expensive) database tool
- Great interface and user experience
- Many ways to implement the database structure according to your needs
- Different views for different uses make it a very flexible tool
- The pricing of the paid tiers are expensive
- Many limitations in the free and plus plans
- The comments pane inside the cards is very limited
Airtable | The Best Software I have Ever Used
- Airtable has the best customization features out there. They allow you to customize you spreadsheets or tables in a variety of formats. They allow you to customize a variety of field types, field sizes and various colors.
- Airtable has a great collaboration feature that makes it easy to share and grant access to tables and a variety of information.
- Airtable has great compatibilities that allows you to directly upload spreadsheets from excel into a customizable table.
- Airtable is easy to teach and understand quickly, and does not take time for someone who is not technically advanced to understand
- I personally don't have any cons with Airtable this is one of my favorite softwares I have ever used
AirTable for a Lean Not-For-Profit
AirTable addresses our need for a flexible solution that has a low barrier for entry as all our staff need to be able to feel comfortable and fluent in their interactions.
- Allows various users to interpret data specific to their own requirements. For example, our community manager and communications manager can source and distribute content from the same database.
- Frictionless sharing of digital assets with media and other stakeholders.
- Survey and user-friendly input systems attached to deeper levels of information that our team uses to guide strategic and operational decisions as well as for CRM purposes.
- The differences between the membership tiers are significant and a great deal of functionality is added at the Pro Plan level
The best for managing your database and projects
- It's an easy to use platform.
- It is quick to get information to others through links, or by exporting data in CSV files.
- Spreadsheet appearance makes it easy to handle and manage information.
- Integrates well with other productivity tools.
- Payment per month is affordable for small and medium-sized businesses.
- Easily puts your inventory in order.
- The errors that may occur during the use of the platform depend on the knowledge of the information and its configuration, otherwise, I consider it an excellent platform to manage databases.
Airtable is a great value to our team
- Airtable excels in its ability to display complex data in a simple way thanks to predefined layouts.
- It is extremely easy to switch between the grid and list layouts when necessary. This would require setting up a new spreadsheet every time.
- The whole app is easily scalable as our requirements change.
- The proprietary nature of Airtable makes the importing and exporting of data an occasional problem.
- The learning curve for users with no database background.
- The pricing model is restrictive.
- Within 1 base, you can link data from multiple tables and manipulate that data to calculate a summary of useful info. For example, if you have different teams working on different parts of a project, with each inputting their own set of data. The manager is able to work out a summary of the info and get a clearer view. That said, it is not an easy task to manipulate the data. You will need in-depth knowledge of database and excel.
- You can create specific views of each table and provide those views to anyone. This is useful when you want to provide a summary of info (which constantly changes) to outsiders without providing them the detailed input of data. For someone with no knowledge of calculating the data from a SQL database, this is useful.
- You can also create forms for people to fill in. This is similar to Google Forms. I like this Airtable form because it submits directly to the tables where data can be calculated and integrated with the rest of the tables.
- One issue we face was the inability to link bases. So for any calculations to be made, all tables have to be from the same base. So this makes a base very big and potentially dangerous with multiple teams updating different parts of the same base in different tables.
- If different bases can be linked, there can be more segregation of data and access. I hope this can be implemented in the future.
- Viewing of a single base with multiple tables is messy. Unlike a SQL database where all the tables are in the left sidebar, in Airtable, the look is more like Excel, where each table is a tab. This gets unsightly when there are over 5 tabs.
