AlphaSense is the best overall Ml/CI solution I've ever used. The tool has far surpassed the capabilities I used in the past (tools like Nexis and Factiva) and offers unique content and better usability. I have found some gaps that require incremental subscriptions to complementary tools (HG Insights, Crunchbase, Crayon, etc.). Still, I believe these capabilities could be added through acquisition or further product development.

Great insights.

Alphasense does what we ask it to do, and it saves us tons of work collecting and organizing bank and analyst opinions. The markets we operate in are constantly shifting, and AlphaSense gives me confidence that I have seen all of the key information.

Accuracy of data and real-time insights drive the value of this product.

Alphasense is great for tracking subjects revolving around a topic. Also incredibly useful when I have to do a deep dive about a competitor in a field that is adajacent to the one I work in. Analyst reports are fantastic and worth the additional cost. Less helpful when it comes to things like tracking marketing efforts (search and display ads, social media campaigns, direct mail, radio/tv commercials). I have to use alternate sources for that. Also, I utilize linkedin to see public job postings of competitors because that potentially has a lot of useful and public data for understanding my competitors next actions Not appropriate for tracking pricing due to the way pricing is hidden from competitors and price is based on service address

AlphaSense does the tedious research work so you can focus on higher-level trend analysis

Well suited:
  • For small, internal teams tracking their own company, their competitors and peers, and the market as a whole
  • Researching and tracking publicly traded companies
  • Covering trends across entire industries

Less appropriate:
  • For collaborating with or pushing materials to large groups of colleagues (i.e., colleagues without licenses)
  • Hosting and distributing your own, internally written competitive enablement content (e.g., sales battlecards)
  • Covering small, private companies
