Definitely requires a demo to get familiar with the functionality of the program, but once you use it a few times there is certainly an ease of use

AlphaSense has the best search functionality I have ever used! And I have A LOT of experience with different databases. It enables someone like me to build out complex search strings when I need, but also find relevant items when I am short on time.

AlphaSense has an extremely powerful search function but it takes some training and getting used to. I think it is better than Google alerts because it covers more domain specific sources. It is better than BamSEC because it covers more than just SEC documents. It is faster and more user friendly than capital iq.

It's clear AlphaSense has a vast library of data. Sometimes, though, I struggle to quickly find data or resources on the platform. For example, I often find it quicker to navigate to a company's own Investor Relations page when searching for a specific earnings press release or slide presentation. I sometimes find the current somewhat UI difficult to use and surprisingly click-heavy, especially when searching for a specific document.

AlphaSense still feels quite unwieldly at times. Esp with adding companies, there's no AI help withthis.

It is cetainly a fulsome tool. You can't accomplish this in CAPIQ, Intelligize, etc. Google blocks a lot of access, and not having all the research coverage is a deterrent for success. I think that this is a unique tool and certainly easy to navigate. I also add that the customer service is strong and useful.

AlphaSense, like any other platform, has a learning curve. However, I found it much easier to navigate and learn than other research platforms thanks to the wonderful customer support and simple user interface. After a few weeks, I feel like a pro and can access any data source I want.

AlphaSense beats anything else I've ever used by a mile. It's not even close. I've never had access to a single portal with so much information, which is so easy to search through, and set up dashboards and alerts. By adding a feature to help synthesize my searches into more immediately usable bits, my rating would go to a perfect 10.

Personally, I found it quite intuitive to use and quick to onboard. I treat AlphaSense as a "Google for financial research."

The user interface is very intuitive compared to other similar platforms like CapIQ Pro. The ability to query using key words along with the bank of synonyms is very useful and saves a lot of time. The dashboard system and watchlist are also well-positioned for a seamless transition when switching between different areas of interest.

It's still not a general market research product, though it is making advances.
It's good at what it does, but aggregation and dissemination of more generalised data isn't there yet, for me.
Newsletters and embeddable dashboards are a must for a CI platform to have a chance in the market against strong competition.

AlphaSense is really good, no doubt on it. However, there are still a few scope of improvement based on my experience. Greater coverage of ESG data, analyst reports can be a few areas where the tool can look to expand its horizon. But that doesn't mean it's not doing that already. The coverage is still pretty good but as a user I'll be more delighted to see new analyst coverages coming in too.

It is very easy to use the fundamental search and keyword filters. They are self explanatory and work as expected. Some of the more advanced features I learned from the AlphaSense representatives visiting the office and giving tutorials. These features really helped me and increased the quality of research I was finding.

so helpful to have the content pushed to us, so we don't miss any recent or current developments. We look at AlphaSense content on a daily basis and it is helpful in our strategic development and planning purposes. Especially like having a tracking list of companies and technologies so we get both inputs.
