Easy to use data wrangling and manipulation software to transfer clients from a legacy accounting software to Sage intacct accounting software. Given the use of import templates Alteryx's ability to easily manipulate and extrapolate key data needing to be in a specific format for the import to correctly be imported within the new system with virtually no kick-back errors due to import formatting issues.

Most business functions use Alteryx: Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Customer Service, IT, R&D, Logistics. A lot of our analytics teams work in silos in these functions. Many of teams within these silos have folks that use Alteryx Designer (and Server). There are also affiliate groups in region that use Alteryx too.

Alteryx Analytics review from an analyst's perspective
As of now, mostly data and analytics functions are using Alteryx. Recently, there are multiple Alteryx training sessions started in the firm and it helped to expand usage of Alteryx across marketing and business functions. I would expect there will be 500+ Alteryx users across the firm in the next couple of years.

I’m not sure of the entire organization’s use, but I’ve seen it across a number of different service lines. Consulting and pure data science users are up there, but there were a number of more tactical industry-specific job roles that used Alteryx as well. I expect most commercial real estate research to begin using Alteryx over the next few years.

Most of the users in our company that utilize Alteryx are analyst and data extraction team members. Alteryx is one of the primary tools used in both of these roles. Used alongside SQL databases and Tableau dashboards Alteryx serves as the bridge between the two to do the heavy lifting of data prep.

The best data pipeline/transformation tool available
I can only speak to its usage in my own function, which is Finance, however, usage of Alteryx is very team dependent and spans across all functions. Within Finance, it is very commonly used amongst all analysts (data, business, process) and other technical roles. It is not a required or enterprise tool, but it is becoming more and more used.
