I have gotten to the point where I use it daily... even for fairly simple tasks. Its easier than the whole vlookup then pivot out that I do in excel.

Definitely yes. Nobody is perfect, but Alteryx does much better. Reported bugs should fixed quickly. Depending on your hardware, I can say the workflows runs smooth and fast. You don't need very high and fancy computer, but you should be reasonable. Working with data is not easy, and all it depends the complexity of the analysis. However, I'm confident and happy with the results and its accuracy.

Very good and fast if developed correctly. I have found some instability in the desktop application and the AMP engine hit or miss

i have had crashes in the past, but usually this is to do with very large datasets and the network connection. the software has been pretty solid otherwise!

Alteryx provides us with the tools to react with agility to business challenges and in a timely maner with confidence it will perform as we need it, when we need it.

Overall Alteryx's performance is good. However there are times when Alteryx takes too long to process large amount of data.

It's a great tool, but it sometimes lacks certain features that are relevant to customer requirements.

Very well ETL pipelines and in-db calculations result in fast data preparations... May need better data quality and governance tools... Analytics capabilities were fast as well however better GPU usage is expected. Some advanced forecast were slow which required massively parallel processing and for that we diverted to enterprise forecasting software eventually...

Alteryx perfoms quite well. I'm really satisfied for my use cases and therefore there is nothing more to comment here.

I already gave the example of journal entries created in less than a second. What else can I tell you about.... I can tell you those 2 journal entries have historically had to be split into separate accounting systems so the outputs had to be very different (D365 vs Intacct) such that they are exactly ready for uploading. I can tell you I used to have some tire and battery queries hitting a line item detail table and they took hours to run UNTIL I asked IT for a view in SQL and now they're ready in about 5 minutes total. I guess I'd say if anything does take a long time - do some research with others and figure out what would speed them up.

I have never had a problem with the reliability and adaptability of Alteryx. I think the tool is very efficient with little effort for non-programmers to see the value. I think the reports produced by Alteryx are easy to understand and make the reporting process much better than if it was done with Excel or a similar less-than-capable software tool.

Low or no code ability to create workflows, without python, R or SQL.
Very fast in loading millions of rows of data into Snowflake.
Workflows run much faster than MS Access or SAS.
Workflows are visual, enhancing the ability to document complex process workflows.
AI is coming to help with documentation and workflow build.

While the errors we get in Alteryx are very few and far between, the occasions we do get them can offer very little detail. Some errors show as "You found a bug, please repeat the error and report it" which can be difficult to replicate

Alteryx allows for easy aggregation of data as well as reformatting into a digestible format. This allows end users to spend more time looking at data and less time brining it together. One of the great things is that once you build the workflow, you just add in the updated data sources and your done.

Because Alteryx performs well with data so large it can't even be output into an excel file. it runs quickly, without error so long as the user creates the workflow that way. It works like any programmable application, it does as it's told. If you build in the correct logic, Alteryx will apply it to your data.

Some of the errors that come up seem convoluted or don't immediately indicate that the real root of the problem is, however for the most part it always goes pretty smoothly.

I mostly use local data sources and prep my data to not cause a buildup of records, which allows my workflows to run quickly. For others, Alteryx provides lots of training opportunities and a community that shows how to setup your workflows to run more quickly. Other than that the only slowdowns are my own bandwidth issues in pulling from S3 buckets.

Alteryx is an extremely reliable platform. If there is an error in my workflow, I feel pretty strongly it was probably my fault. The platform also handles large amounts of data very quickly and can join/match, sort, filter, calculate on that data quickly as well. One of my favorite things to build into a workflow are the messages based on data/metadata and error messages based on errors I have come across before.

I have thousands of workflows that run daily. Each one is critical to the business and helps make business decisions on a daily basis. Without Alteryx these processes would take hours if not days to do. In conjunction with other tools Alteryx enables us to be a workhorse and unbeatable

Workflow Performance, Report Generation, Error Handling

Alteryx performs very well. The fact that it's drag & drop and entirely flexible means that there are always a number of ways of tackling any use case. Depending on the background (department or skill/expertise), users would address challenges in different ways and Alteryx allows for that. It is a language that all users can understand and because the workflows are so visual, it is so easy to pick up where others have left off (transparent and transferable unlike picking up someone else's script!).

There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you've figured out how to create your workflow it will quickly generate the reports and insights you need.

Most workflows run perfectly smooth, and troubleshooting is simple if needed.
