We are currently using Amazon Advertising Sponsored Products in our SEO and Digital Marketing department to help reach buyers online. Creating ads with Amazon Advertising is way too easy and cost effective compared to other platforms.
  • Sponsored ads and PPP helps us to emerge top ranking ads, we count more clicks.
  • It is cost effective since WE do pay when a buyer clicks rather than impressions.
  • Improving the search engine optimization of our brand.
  • Ever since I started using Amazon Advertising Sponsored Products, I have never encountered issues at all.
In our education management system, we have been able to reach high leads in the cloud. Therefore, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amazon Advertising Sponsored ads to all businesses looking to reach global clients.
  • Audio and video ads
  • CPC ads
  • Social media integration.
  • It has been easy to improve global reach by creating sponsored products campaign.
  • Paying only when clients click the link helps us to eradicate losses.
  • Improving company SEO across search engines.
It is cost effective to run ads with Amazon Advertising Sponsored Products since I only pay when customers click the links. Reporting feature offered by Amazon Advertising Sponsored ads makes it effective to measure business success.

[Amazon Advertising Sponsored Products is] being used in our digital marketing department. It's a crucial component of growing our business on Amazon. We create ad campaigns to generate sales and build brand presence/reach. We run campaigns for sponsored products, posts, sponsored brands, display advertising. We also use it to build out our Amazon brand store.
  • Intuitive UI - easily create and manage campaigns
  • Generates solid return on ad spends
  • Provides detailed analytics and reporting.
  • Limited lookback on historical data
  • Very manual, not enough automation without 3p solution
  • ACOS is a deceiving metric, should include ROAS instead
It's a necessary platform to maximize your growth on Amazon, as with any other retailers that have launched or are developing their own platforms. However, it helps to gain a competitive edge and build your brand. Relatively cheap to get started, but needs a dedicated advertising budget as costs will rise with campaign success.
  • Very positive ROAS for outdoor furniture segment.
  • Promotes large enough growth to require a role dedicated to manage Amazon campaigns
  • Brand stores are difficult/clunky to manage.
Google advertising is by far the leader in digital ad platforms, Amazon [Advertising] Sponsored Products really only addresses the need to promote listings on Amazon.com. Sponsored products does not address the need for off-site media, so google advertising is essentially the top of the search funnel whereas sponsored products would be at the bottom of the funnel where conversion happens.

What can you say, Amazon is taking over the world. When Amazon is visited almost as much as Facebook and is competing with Google as a SEARCH ENGINE, It just got real. That's why we do Amazon Ads. We know that people are in a buying mood when they go there. I have multiple businesses so it allows me to log in once, get everything cued up and done. We have a haircare business that has products shipped all over the world. Until you have reach like Amazon, you don't know where your customer base really is.
We have 5 S-corp, so we use one interface for all and it makes everything simple and easy to control and make changes. Amazon shows the sponsored ads on and off Amazon to increase its reach, so we get incredible exposure.
  • Sponsored ADs
  • Sponsored products
  • Video ADs
  • Self Service Amazon ADs take some time to set up.
  • Making a custom AD can be a challenge.
  • Functionality of the platform has improved, but needs some tweaks.
Excellent experience once the ads are set up. I love that the ads will appear on different sites without any extra setup or hassle. They have been adding more formats and features over time, which has been great to experiment with. My ads are very versatile and appear in many places to get exposure. The pricing structures are steep. I have a competitor in Brazil who can beat me on price because I have to upcharge, but they don't. I get the lion share of sales just because I can offer 2-3 day Priority Shipping to the USA.
  • ROI is not what I would like it to be.
  • Brand is over-advertised by too many sellers.
  • No preference for USA sellers.
Optimization has come a long way, but it doesn't stack up well against Facebook Marketplace. I think it has a great market share and that there are plenty of people there ready to buy. Amazon adds legitimacy and trust to the process, but if there is ever a dispute, they always side with the customer, not the seller.
The cost/ROI is not where I would like it to be, but I can glimpse the improvements that have been made are making a difference. My expectation is that they will get to a place where the ROI has been adequately addressed. I think the sales have sharpened over the COVID nonsense since stores are shuttering. This has increased the market share for anyone advertising on Amazon.
