I used it to store files that needed to be saved but not accessed a bunch of times. It was more of a place to deep freeze things that might be needed later. I like to think of it as more of a "back-up of a back-up" in case the worst happens for important files.

It's good to store personal projects that you want to hang on to. It's also great for creating redundant back ups so you can be assured your data will have a spot somewhere when it comes to retrieving it for later in the worst-case scenarios. The only thing is to remember to add it.

  • Helped free HDD space
  • Added backup for files
OneDrive is a lot more known if you have an Office 365 environment at work. Or at home with things preinstalled. Azure is a huge cloud and Amazon is the only thing that could rival it. Amazon Cloud Drive is a nice way to add another point for redundancy to keep files safe.
Didn't need support for this product. It's kind of one of those spots where you add files and let it go. I suppose there are ways to get fancy with it but for what I need it for, I don't need anything with support or help.
It's pretty average for what else is out there

I started using Amazon Cloud Drive in 2008. At that time it was becoming a fashionable cloud storage service and there was also talk of Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, and Megaupload among others. All of these were competing to offer free storage space and some offered more than others. Amazon made Amazon Cloud Drive available with 5 GB free, and it is still that way, only that they have focused on the storage of images as well. In 2008 I decided to try it and to this day the I keep using it. I really use it as a reliable data backup.
  • It is very simple to use.
  • It is accessible from any device connected to the internet.
  • It has the support of Amazon.
  • Expand the space for free users.
  • It should include the option to edit files in the cloud.
If you want a discreet and safe place to store information, Amazon Cloud Drive is the solution.

If you want to share, exchange or edit as a team, there are better options in the market.

  • Being free, everything ACD gives is profit. In this service, I have saved files for years and I find the storage very complete and secure. I think it is possible to earn even more if other services are included in the cloud, such as Microsoft Office 360 does it with OneDrive.
ACD has lagged behind its competition. I would like to see more space and more features. Its main strength is the Amazon support.
It is safe but has little added value.
Because Amazon Cloud Drive is very easy to use.

We use Amazon cloud drive to store and share content between members of the team. It acts a useful tool in conjunction with other systems to collaborate on projects and share.
  • App based auto sync and sorting of photos
  • Ease of use
  • Accessibility across multiple devices through the use of apps and browser support
  • Over simplistic at times - could have some more features
  • Possibly have the ability to lock documents to prevent further editing if using collaboratively/sharing
As a place to personally store photos and documents I cannot fault Amazon Cloud Drive. There are better tools out there for business use, but [there are] benefits from its simplicity to not do anything overly complicated.

  • Internal document management has become much smoother
  • More secure than internal storage solutions
I use this product in conjunction with other products to store information. As a storage solution it performs as expected, it's use as a business application could be open to improvement mainly due to the lack of collaboration, lock off of files, etc. However, its photo storage is unparalleled in ease of use and visual display.

  • Photo Sync - download an app and automatically store photos
  • Sharing documents
  • Locking documents for editing - impossible
Yes
The mobile interface is through the use of apps and is very easy to use. There are separate apps for photo storage and document storage each having their own set of features such as auto sync for photos and document previews, etc.
The system is very easy to use and it's use of apps for almost all devices and hardware makes it even easier to manage and store photos and documents. I highly recommend this as an easy to use solution for novices!
