Simple-to-integrate. The product could be improved with a dashboard for non-dev users (e.g. a customer service professional) to more easily see metrics and pull up logs to help with customer issues.

It is useful for applications developed using event driven architecture. It helps in tracking and logging the events in a very timely and efficient manner. The dashboards are a little difficult to implement. But overall it is very easy to integrate with other AWS services like Lambda, API GW, S3 and DynamoDB. The permissions to access should be resolved before using it.

Amazon SNS is simple and easy to use. Quoting Albert Einstein “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.” This is pretty much where SNS is.

Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) can be used for multiple purposes or ways of notifying users.
Examples could be SMS, email, and mobile push notification. Also, it could be well suited for your needs to enable two different systems to talk to each other using pub/sub functionality. Publisher systems can use topics to generate notifications to multiple subscriber systems in one go.

Easy to set up and easy to use. If you need a system to help streamline messaging Amazon SNS is where it is at. It has helped numorous clients get the needed subscribed information quickly without having to go find it themselves saving them time and overall dollars.

In general, the usability is simple and great. Nevertheless, there are some things that should be noted. First of all, the API is proprietary so you need to invest some time in it. Secondly, you need some time to learn how to use and connect everything, but once you know how it works, it's simple.
