Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been an AnyDesk software user since 2020, after the coronavirus outbreak. The software has always made it so easy for me to connect to my workplace computer remotely. It also allows us to collaborate with our teams and hold online meetings flawlessly. AnyDesk is easy to use and offers standard remote access features. The product is both on-premises and cloud, and allows screen sharing.

Availability of cross platform access and multi monitor support.
The software allows recording of remote sessions.
Secure file transfer and screen sharing capabilities.

Cons

The software has worked for me and our organization at large. No complaints.

Very easy to use
It allows you to control the flow by creating a list of recent connections, as well as saving frequently used connections or saving them as favorites
It also allows you to share files and resources between the remote computer and your computer, and vice versa

Cons

It would be better if it allowed linking multiple devices simultaneously through multiple tabs
It's complicated to have to wait for permission to be granted again after the connection is lost; ideally, it would allow quick reconnection when you were recently connected to the client
Sometimes it doesn't allow you to manipulate the equipment; you have to wait for them to accept the extended rights permission, and sometimes that part is complicated for clients
Estaría mejor si permitiera poder enlazar a varios equipo simultáneos por varias pestañas
Es algo complicado que cuando se pierda la conexión, volver a esperar que acepten el permiso de nuevo lo ideal sería permitir enlazar rápidamente cuando recientemente estabas conectado con el cliente
En ocasiones no permite manipular el equipo, tienes que esperar que acepten el permiso de derechos ampliados y en ocasiones a los clientes se les complica esa parte

AnyDesk is used for remotely accessing the computers either for accessing on-site business equipment to enable remote work for employees or to troubleshoot tech issues. AnyDesk can help business save high IT support platforms cost by enabling secure remote access to machines across multiple sites. My use case includes remote access for technical support for end users and managing cross site servers.

Pros

Works well even if the network becomes sluggish
Cross platform support. I can be used on mobile as well. Certainly helps a lot if I am travelling and not near my laptop/PC
File sharing

Cons

If remote computer has dual monitor setup, we have to switch between monitors manually. there should be an option to view both screens
The GUI should be able to handle multiple tabs instead of opening separate window for each instance
lacks ability to view remote system info like uptime, IP address, hostname etc

We use AnyDesk for both on-site or remote employees at our office.
Session recorder can help log what was done during the remote session.
Remote employees and customers are able to get efficient assistance on the go which saves time to travel or to explain over the call

We have clients in UAE and we provide tech support to them from Bangladesh with the help of AnyDesk. We remotely support the technical issues of a large client in UAE and solve their tech issues over the internet. This is a ticket based system and the client has ove 800 employees distributed all over UAE with laptops and PCs. For any tech issue in those devices, we support remotely.

Logging in remotely from a mobile device to a PC/Laptop while on the road.
Works well in low bandwidth.
Keeps log record of login sessions.
Shares alert on system downtime.

Cons

The video compression tool can be better to support low internet bandwidth.
The UX/UI can be better.
There can be more DIY tutorials for new users.
The session login can be simplified.
Can have 2-factor authentications with known authenticators.

Screen sharing, with AnyDesk address you can instantly connect with remote desk. very useful
Session recording, help us analyse meeting and get insights to improve demos and service
It can be used on mobile app as well, so if you are not near Laptop/PC, you can share screen on mobile

Cons

Security.. if AnyDesk is installed on mobile app, then Axis Bank app doesn't open for security reason, i have to uninstall AnyDesk to use Axis bank app
few times despite the internet connect it says client is offline

It's easy and quick, saves our time, we could do more meetings, which has positive impact on our reveneue
We use good meeting tool to analyse our meeting, we use recording from AnyDesk :)
Highly recommended, we insist our clients as well to use it
