I work full time as an adjunct professor for a private university, and what makes this software great is that for online learning it automatically takes roll call for us based on who does and doesn't log onto the chat platform via blackbird, that was also one of the reasons why we picked it because it integrated easily with our chat and learning platform.

We found that this works great when allowed to integrate with our LMS and our chat platform because it automates the login process, each time a student logs into the chat it automatically tells us and generates a report that goes to the provost. This is also great for test taking and it limits the need for a proctor, we use it for multiple elements within student attendance.

We didn't evaluate other software, this came highly recommended to us by our sister school and we opted to utilize that same program, ultimately it was a smart choice because leadership ended up combining student attendance and this made it easier to keep track on students from both universities. This has been a great choice for us.

Our sister school uses this software, at the time we didn't have a combine inventory of students but we needed something similar and this was their recommendation. Once we started using it ourselves we realized how easy it was to use and automate with our current LMS and chat program.

Decision Factors

The only thing I wish we would have done is do a demo with our sister school so that we could have started the process faster, we've had issues with attendance for the last two years, they have had the software longer than we have. In the end it ended up being a great choice.
