AppFolio Property Manager is stronger than Propertyware in marketing and walkthroughs
Propertyware is far superior to AppFolio Property Manager in ease of use. Property-management software is a tool used by property management companies to streamline business and facilitate transactions, billing, markups. In my experience, AppFolio Property Manager's system for marking up bills is so clunky and requires so many steps that it actually costs our company money by requiring excessive man power to implement. On top of that, in my opinion, the lack of customer support indicates that this company will quickly lose customers. Our company is 100% wishing we had not switched to AppFolio Property Manager

We liked the features that AppFolio had vs Yardi. Their were more features that aligned with our future goals, and were far easier to use. The online reviews were also better, which swayed our opinion.

Before we used AppFolio Property Manager we used Skyline. Skyline Property Management was super outdated. The tenants did not have access to that program so we had to purchase another program for them to make their payments through. We would then have to manually enter every single payment.
Onboarding and transferring data to AppFolio from Skyline was a nightmare and took us several months.
AppFolio is so much easier for tenant use.

Overall, AppFolio is easier to use and has a dashboard that is easier to read and easier to follow day-to-day. You can customize the main page for your needs and access what you need smoothly. The look of one site seems a bit outdated. Also, AppFolio is constantly making changes to better serve customers. For example, three months ago I would have put Onesite over AppFolio for ease of guest card tracking. I come into the office one day, logged on and now AppFolio has a way to easily share which prospects require a follow-up. One site is connected to real page Active Building so some of the resident interaction is missing, but overall, AppFolio is the better system.
