We use ASP.net across the whole organization and all products.
- Easy to integrate with IIS on any windows server
- Easy to integrate with SQL Server
- Easy to create web apis restful or rpc
- need easier integration of css pre-compilers
- Easy to find developers that know vb.net/c#.net
- Visual Studio + .Net are highly productive environments
- Plenty of 3rd party tools and controls available for asp.net
