  • My organization manages content and knowledge much better.
  • Confluence helps solves a lot of compliance issues and requirements that our company has in the Financial Technology services field.
  • We are able to support our customers better and scale our business easier.

  • We've gone from folders and folders of Word documents and PDFs into a single system with a search feature to bring all of our data together and trackable
  • While onboarding took a bit longer for the company (to switch from a Word document centric mindset - to a web-based one), overall the company has embraced the features and power of Confluence within the working stack
  • However, as costs continue to climb for the Atlassian product, we are forced to continue our evaluation of the product - with replacing it a remote possibility if it begins to outprice its usefulness to us.

  • Previously various different ways were used to send documents like over mail or common path. But with this only share on confluence thus time saving 60-70%
  • No requirement of extra man power to maintain all previous method of sharing documents. Thus saving cost upto 50%
  • If any error occur one can easily find documents in that single page thus troubleshooting is easy

  • Confluence was originally planned to be our go-to collaborative workspace; while it is useful, it doesn't match the real time collaboration and advanced features of G Suite, Office 365 or DropBox which we also use
  • Because it is relatively inexpensive it has been positively positioned as our internal WIKI, SOP repository, etc etc.
  • Its inexpensive versatility has also rendered it beneficial for new employee training and historical documentation

  • Atlassian Confluence is deployed on the cloud which means we save a lot of money and don't need to maintain our own servers.
  • Increased collaboration across different teams and geographies.
  • Mobile apps allow people to access content on the go as well and from any device.

  • Improved quality of the project documentation created for our business
  • Creating documents templates massively decreased the amount of time needed to create standarised documentation files
  • Automatic import of Jira tasks into Confluence, reduced the amount of time needed for Sprint Reviews (this had to be done manually before).

  • Positive ROI through storing all planning and progress documentation including all prior versions
  • Positive ROI through limiting the administrative overhead of building and organizing pages
  • Negative ROI through some missed communications during drafts due a lack of draft workflow out of the box
