Automox

We use Automox to auto-deploy patching updates to our end devices, Mac, Windows, and Linux-based systems. We group devices based on their use case, i.e., Employee, Production, Server, etc. We can then manage urgency and granular updates as they relate to the individual business case. The autonomy of updates allows our system engineers to focus on creating new solutions and solving ongoing issues.

Since we started using this product, patching our RHEL servers has become easy for multiple reasons. It has also helped us configure policies and run them easily across our Linux environment. Collecting stats or details from the environment and generating a report has also become easy.

Automation is very important to me because I don’t like doing repetitive tasks if there’s a way to automate them. As a patching solution, Automox performs very well. It would be even more awesome if there was a way to patch running programs. Many errors occur because programs are being patched while running. I appreciate how simple Automox is to use, and another feature I really appreciate is the remote tool. Mostly, I use Teams for remote sessions, but if admin credentials are needed, I usually turn to the remote tool that Automox provides. As long as you have decent PowerShell skills, Automox should be able to handle most of what you need.

We use Automox as a way to push important updates to workstations and our servers, both physical and virtual, and as a way to remote into workstations. We have over 300 workstations and almost 200 servers so this makes it very convenient to have everything in one place. We have not had any issues so far with using Automox.

We use Automox for updates and vulnerability patching. We have a small team and really needed an easy product to deploy and manage. We switched from using SCCM which had more options and configuration than we had time to maintain and love the simplicity of Automox.

Automox is being tested as a replacement for end-point patching. The interface is easy to use and looks like it can save our teams many hours throughout the month, allowing us to focus resources in better areas. The UI seems well refined, and gives an inviting look, without becoming overwhelming.

We have remote offices, mini sites for sales and we have end-users from all over the place, they won't be able getting new policy set in our GPO unless they are in our network. With Automox we are able to deploy policies wherever they are. We also use Automox for security patches, remote software installs and IT compliance strategies.

We are a small Goverment agency of less than 100 employees. We have over 240 devices to keep update to date and found Automox very intuitive and easy to use, it has saved us time and money.

We use Automox to Monitor and patch all of our systems (servers and workstations) . this task used to be very daunting however Automox has made these much easier even adding the ability to update 3rd part app and apply setting to selected machines within the fleet

Within our organization we use Automox to manage our entire inventory of users and assets. By using this I can manage users and their assets by pushing crticically needed updates or maybe I need to push a policy that is needed as soon as possible I can do so remotely using this service. Very quick and handy for anyone in the IT field.

Automated patching across MacOS and Windows, as well as worklets for automation of scripts etc., and vulnerability remediation. There's plenty of patching products out there, but few that cover multiple platforms. To avoid vendor sprawl, we looked at Automox as a single vendor for all the platforms that we support across the business.

We use Automox for Windows and third party patch management as well as automation of some Windows support tasks. Automox has allowed us to configure the critical updates to install right away but also allowed us to schedule non-critical patches to install after a 14 day waiting period to make sure they didnt cause any issues for the early adopter of those patches.

I'm Sysadmin and I use Automox to be sure that computers are always up to date and we use some policies in order to have secured laptops.
We also are able to check installed software.
We need some specific configuration for some laptops and we can easily deploy the config online.

Automox solves one of the most crucial issues we ran into during our day-to-day maintenance of our endpoints. It is very important that our endpoints stay up to date with the latest version of Software patches and Windows Updates. Automox provides a centralized management point for being able to push out Software and Windows updates automatically and manually. It also provides an easy to use Activity Report and Policy Results Report that lets you view the overall health of your organization and which endpoints may be missing a patch or multiple. Automox makes it very easy to keep our endpoints up to date with Windows updates automatically and also push any manual updates we want.

We use Automox for patching host machines throughout the organization, Automox addresses the following business problems we had, it would address the issue of not keeping host machines operating systems up-to-date, software patching also is a breeze with Automox too. We are able to group different machines according to critical to non critical and then further apply different policies to them. The Automox is cloud based and relieving the on-prem duties, it is a very fast patching solution overall.

In my organization, I use Automox as a way to monitor and patch vulnerabilities in about 250 computers. Automox has made my life much easier with their worklet, which are basically powershell scripts that can be ran remotely. This makes it extremely easy to patch third party applications, and even run Windows updates.

We use Automox for laptops and user devices only. It helps keep these devices up to date with very little interaction needed.
We find that Automox does the work of another employee and gives us clear and precise reporting.

We find it can be a little tricky with Azure or time critical update windows so we only use for laptops
