In my opinion, it was not intuitive to ensure all computers were being patched on time or properly with both OS and 3rd party patches. Tech Support was responsive but, in my experience, the amount of time taken to remediate the issues we had were one of the key factors for us deciding canceling our licenses.

We were able to get patches out and managed properly to remote staff. We have have users in all corners of the World and this was the best way to push things out to them while maintaining control of what goes where and when. The software distribution piece just added functionality that was otherwise very cumbersome to do manually

We find we can patch at least 90% of our devices without any manual intervention or manual reboots. We still use Automox for critical servers but we choose to manually reboot them after patching with Automox so we can control when they reboot. Using Automox gives us peace of mind knowing that our devices are patching on schedule.

We found that we had a much better understanding of our device's patch status than before we implemented Automox. It identified issues where devices were not patching appropriately through WSUS and allowed us to better automate our patching policy as well as set up a restart policy to avoid issues caused by logged-on users.

Biggest experience change was the end users being presented with different alerts/warnings to update their endpoint. Enrollment of Automox was automated through Microsoft Intune Autopilot to auto-enroll all endpoints as they are deployed to ensure compliance and patch thresholds.

This the one of the best feature that Automox has provided, in our current organization we have reduce the human effort for maintenance by one third which saves business money and time. We have implement this in out banking sectors and planning to use the same tool on other sectors as well. It would be great if more automation is involved in this tool.

We use an outside cyber-security firm to audit our compliance with our corporate cyber security goals. They calculate a composite score that is used by our investors to ensure that we are protecting the business from all threats. Automox is largely responsible for driving this score down by nearly 40% in only a few weeks. Prior to Automox, we had seen our score creeping up every month. Using Automox has also allowed us to get more favorable cyber-insurance rates.

At an operations level, we spend much less time patching endpoints and we get much better results than before.

We were able to achieve a good security posture from a place where we were struggling before we got Automox in our environment. We are now on a schedule to patch all servers and end user clients on a periodic basis, it is very easy to set up and deploy. We also have a powerful tool in out hand to do a quick ad hoc patching to act upon a one-off vulnerability patch or respond to zero day. And deploying new software's across the organization has never been easier.

Automox has been a game-changer for our organization in terms of easy-to-use endpoint management and patching. Previously, managing user endpoints was a significant challenge, but Automox has simplified the process, making it much more efficient and streamlined. Automating the patching process saved the organization significant time and effort. It reduced the manual workload involved in managing patches for multiple devices and allowed the IT team to focus on more strategic initiatives. Additionally, by automating the process, the organization potentially saved costs associated with system vulnerabilities and security breaches.

Unfortunately, I do not know how it was in the organization before the implementation of Automox, but I can assume that after the implementation security has increased and it became easier to meet compliance requirements. The productivity of employees has also increased.

It has helped us reduce our endpoint management costs by almost half. It is great for managing patches in infrastructures that have various devices, including those running on Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Automox allows devices to be patched even when we are outside the company network(when working remotely)

After Automox was deployed, our patching compliance rate significantly increased. We spent less time troubleshooting why patches had not deployed, and less time reporting on the current status.

Automox also patched many more third-party applications than our previous solution, again reducing the workload to keep our devices compliant.

Our end users appreciate that they get the option to delay patching and reboots to avoid disruptions to their workflow.

The macOS operating system updates have not been reliable although third party software updates have worked. The Windows updates work for both the OS and third party updates.

We noticed an immediate ease of trying to locate and source a multitude of patches required across our complex IT infrastructure. For teams managing development effects, engineering tools, and other unique software packages and libraries, Automox was essential for making patching efforts significantly easier. Additionally, we gained a great deal more visibility into our IT infrastructure and the overall software variety running on our systems.

We abandoned an on-premise WSUS server, which has always been a clunky solution. We've also eliminated the responsibility of end users to install non-Microsoft updates on their own.
