Microsoft Azure Analysis Services is best tool which is well suited for many type of scenarios. Like if the organization is dealing with a lot of critical data and need some better analysis and insights for that data then tool serves the best. It helps in depth analysis and getting the desired result which helps in making big decision for any organization. We can create role based access for sensitive data hence it is very helpful for security point of view. Helps in making the business more productive and taking decision based on facts. It is less appropriate for scenarios like where data amount is less and the solution is very costly and someone can get a cheaper solution. Also not suited for environment where user directory do not exist because without the help of user directory role could not be created hence proper utilization of this tool will not be possible.

Microsoft is the pioneer in the software industry, and its new tool Azure takes cloud computing to the next level with ease of use and accessibility. Don't need a VM to have access to SSAS. Azure Analytics Services has changed the name of the game for our analytics. It takes you above and beyond your typical Google Analytics Platform with in-depth analytics and needed metrics for performance goals.

It is really good when analyzing services. It works generally as expected and brings the same quality that is expected from every other Azure product. If you are a company or an user that puts a lot of focus on security and focus a lot on the matter that your data does not get leaked, then Azure Analysis Services is the way to move forward.

Using this product, we can have semantic data models from all the sources whether it is Oracle or MSSQL. We can then connect to these models to convert data to excel, reports and use this as an input to Power BI tools. Also ad hoc analysis can be performed.

We would have many technical issues and glitches with previous similar providers but found that Azure Analysis Services can simply handle our workload and memory better. I remember we lost an account due to cloud issues not fully saving or corrupting some files. Granted, this is rare with any cloud but haven't had that issue with the same load of memory with Azure Analysis Services.

The best thing about Azure Analysis Service is that it provides secure access anytime from anywhere and also it provides REST API which is very easy to use and user-friendly. I also like how they present their online video tutorials very detailed to help the beginners. There is no challenges while learning how to use this tool everything is at its place. So it's time saving.
