Bomgar is a wonderful and reliable tool to use in providing remote desktop support. I was able to install the application and start using it without even referring to the user guide. It is very intuitive for both the tech support staff and the users we support. There is sometimes a struggle to get users to understand that we need them to release control of the mouse, but once we explain what's going on they are usually receptive to letting us take control.

As with all things there are areas of opportunity. Ease of use is great, security is excellent, and reliability is also. Things that need improved include ability to add colorized custom sections, like an address book for computers that one connects to that require different settings from default. It would be nice to have additional space for scripts and the ability to use multiple resource files.

I gave it this score because it is very easy to use, and more importantly, it is very easy for an end-user to use, and to begin a session. We don't use the queue function yet but we will likely in the future and that I think will take it even more over the top.

Bomgar is easy to use and the layout makes things convenient. Even for someone who has never used it but has some technical ability, loading the software and waiting on the next task to come through is easy enough. Once you start to learn the details of creating connections or finding machines that are anchored to the system, you start to move forward at a pretty quick pace.

Bomgar is so simple to use that we didn't need to have training to show engineers how to use it, we had them install the client, login, and play around with it, they got the hang of it quite easily and embraced using it with customers. When we were acquired by another company they wanted to use Bomgar, all we needed to do is add them into our LDAP directory and allow them to login, they picked it up and began using it with their customers immediately. The software BEGS people to use it once you try it, you will be hooked! Whether you use it to support internal customers, external customers, access your own machines remotely, or just do file transfers, there is nothing that is as feature rich as Bomgar.

Bomgar allows me time to give reviews like this one. Without it, I'd still be on the phone with my customers trying to get them into the device manager or tell me their IP address.
