BigCommerce is an excellent platform with a few quirks
- Ability to provide custom experience depending on who is logged in using the Stencil framework with Handlebars
- Provide custom product visibility based on whether or not the calculated product price is equal to zero.

BigCommerce from a small business owner
- I love the ability to build an order for a customer we have been talking with on Messenger and sharing the cart with them. Whether they are on a mobile platform, or desktop. No matter what payment option they use we can get them taken care of. We can get them the equipment they need to go about improving their ability and have the least amount of downtime we possibly can.
- Linking the products we carry to our YouTube channel is really exciting. This gives us one more thing we can put on our site, to link to our efforts on another channel to help get our message out into the world.
- Facebook Marketplace and Instagram integration are super exciting ways to drive people back to our website as well.

Growing BIG with BigCommerce
- Our POS system is a bit outdated and is not very mobile. I used to occasionally have customers contact me outside of our normal business hours wanting to know our stock on certain items, and I was never able to give it until I was back in the office in front of our in house system. Now, I can just check the stock via BogCommerce! It may not seem like much, but this has saved a handful of sales while allowing me to feel more sure about what I have available.
- When we first signed up, we had no idea that with just a few clicks, we could have our entire catalog uploaded to social media. The majority of our customer base hangs out on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, so this connectivity provides a prefect opportunity for us to expand our sales even more.
- We have created book-lists for more than 10 schools, all posted as "Categories" on our site for the customers to be able to use to inform their purchases.
- We have created multiple product "options" in order to allow for sales of "New, Used, Rentals" and even "E-Books"
- Leverage Python for quick scripting using BigCommerce APIs
- Leverage BigCommerce's templating system for enhancing frontend look and feel
- Leverage BigCommerce's WebDAV for storing documents and other static content

A great choice if you can afford it!
- Connecting BigCommerce to our NetSuite ERP has been essential in streamlining our business. We do it indirectly through a 3-rd Party app called FarApp.
- BigCommerce works well with Sales & Orders to keep us active on Google products / AdWords
- BigCommerce can use photo URLs from other sites for our products, which is nice since we are a reseller.
- In order to build a site that was a content-led eCommerce platform with full CMS control, the only solution was to relaunch the website on WordPress with commerce powered by BigCommerce.
