No I did not purchase it, as it was not something I really needed for my small company/small webstore as I did not think I needed that, and honestly the messages I have had with support have always been replied to fast and with great detail including links to help articles and other helpful videos and info. So for my needs the support system that is there is perfect.

We battle to get service out of Bigcommerce. We need desperately a payment gateway for South Africa, but Bigcommerce is useless!!!
Thank you for your inquiry.Big Commerce develop their own integrations into gateways.In 2018 they had both integration to Paygate and Vcs.We requested code updates to existing plugins and never heard back from them.
We had access to the developer api and requested permission for our developer to have access to the Big Commerce platform, numerous times so that he could continue to develop plugins for our gateways. We followed up for many months and never heard back from them.
We assumed they were just not interested.

Support is quick and freely available. Live chat is always quick to respond, and the one time I decided to call the support line instead of chat/email, the handler went above and beyond to make sure my issue was understood. The resolution was even sent by them, so they showed a full circle approach to solving customer problems.

We paid for premium support the first year while setting up and learning the system. It was well worth the extra money. Now we know system very well so do not need the extra support. Our processes are relatively stable so not a lot of new learning required. Knowledge base of support documents and community are also great.
