We use it to sell our product online, both wholesale and retail.
- One stop solution for our e-commerce needs.

- Generally positive impact on all of our business objectives.
$100,000 to $500,000
I am not familiar with the term API and do not think our company currently uses this function.
We also have and use a Wix account for a generic webpage that does not involve e-commerce.

BigCommerce facilitates our ecommerce store. We retail a full line of automotive key control products and have been selling online for appx 9 years. We switched to BigCommerce to get more versatility and better optimization for our product line. We also build, manage and optimize BigCommerce stores for clients.
- Fast load time of site platform on all devices
- Easy Inventory Management
- New Variations tools are much faster for data loading
- Fully accessible meta data for categories, inventory, pages and posts for optimization
- Convenient built in blog for adding content
- Platform is easy to train on, we use webex to train clients on their back end management of their stores
- Multiple Payment options encourage more sales
- Amazon integration, Google Shopping integration, eBay integration
- Need to be able to add tracking information to customer order
- Would like shipping alert to be editable to include tracking number
- Need more of a WIZWIG editor or theme options that do not require coding, most clients cannot handle the areas of the platform that require html skills to edit

- Store revenues increase year over year since moving to BigCommerce
- Adding Amazon check out increased sales
- Would like a better template, or template functionality
- Need a newer template that will still display products on the front page (needs to look like a store)
$20,000 to $100,000
Integrations allow us to provide inventory to multiple third parties for additional selling options. We use the apps to push inventory to Amazon and Google Shopping. Adding Amazon check out has increased our sales. Right now approximately 1/3 of all checkouts are Amazon pay. We recently integrated our BigCommerce (BC) store with our Amazon store, so now our Amazon sales track in BigCommerce and customers are saved in BC history with their orders, great for retargeting via our email marketing.
We use Woo Commerce/WordPress for many start ups with small inventories. We also manage Square, Shopify, Magento and MonsterCommere stores for clients. We find that BigCommerce is the best overall solution - although many clients that are tied to their Magento investment are afraid to leave. They think savings thousands of dollars moving forward negates their decision to start out with the wrong platform (over spending on their initial investment and management). Once we convert them to BC, they never want to go back.
- adding inventory
- managing orders
- coupon codes
- setting up abandoned cart reminders
- setting up also boughts
- no ability to add tracking information to order confirmation
- theme editing requires html skills
- abandoned themes - happens too frequently
- not enough free theme options with good features
Yes, but I don't use it

inventory data entry needs to be facilitated for the customer/client. We price our client packages with data upload (at least 10 products) and webex training time to be sure that they have a good handle on their inventory process. New variations system is much easier to train on

- making sure payment gateway was capturing and authorizing payments

Calls are generally answered in less than 3 mins by a live support rep (after you get through the annoying recording/greeting). The support team is great at troubleshooting problems and finding work arounds for issues.

We use several integrations to streamline our order processing, shipping, CRM and Marketing efforts.
- WordPress, Radial Omnichannel Technology (f.k.a. eBay Enterprise Retail Order Management) and Amazon API Gateway
Amazon is a fair contender however not as easy to understand and get started if you're not in the tech space.

SUPER Big E-Commerce at affordable prices
We use Big Commerce to sell our broad range of customer print products that are primarily paper-based; brochures, posters, postcards, etc. We use it as an extension of our business, and it is not our primary income generator. The biggest advantage of having BigCommerce is that when customers need pricing on a range of various products, we simply direct them to our site. For example, if a customer needs a brochure/pamphlet printed and they require folding, the system will illustrate the fold based on their choice. It's very cool.
- Their live chat help is very, well, HELPFUL. They simply DO NOT re-direct us to an FAQ page....they help us solve problems. And if by chance they cannot help, then they escalate the issue to those with more technical savvy. By helping us, they are also helping themselves. Our problems are their opportunities for improvement.
- Sometimes it is too difficult and too time-consuming to resolve an issue over chat. It's also frustrating. At some point during an arduous chat, the operator should offer up the option to discuss over the phone.
- BigCommerce gives us a wonderful platform by which we can offer our products, and that's all good and fine, but reaching a market is another task in itself. They have gained my trust as a loyal customer, and it would be great if they could also help my business grow by offering SEO/marketing services.

Less than $20,000
We use several APIs, which have made the experience and functioning of our website more intuitive and robust. The most important integration is that with PayPal Payments with Braintree. We also have integration with JotForm and PureChat.
We have researched many, but used only BigCommerce.
