What is Bigtincan?

Bigtincan is a mobile content sales enablement platform, designed to make accessing and presenting content easier for salespeople. Marketers can create logic to recommend content for salespeople to share with prospects on their mobile device, based on the stage of the deal. Then content utilization is logged automatically to Salesforce, providing marketers with insight into what content is being shared with customers.

Bigtincan can also be used to enable field service organizations with mobile content, such as forms and expert knowledge/on the job training.

Additional use cases include mobile IT service organizations (similar to the field service use case), financial services (similar to the sales enablement use case, for advisors presenting investment products), and government (for mobile document sharing during meetings).

Our [organization] uses Bigtincan Hub for elected official and committee meetings. We use the product to manage our business papers (including confidential), monitor access, restrict sharing and data leakage. We have internal staff as well as external members that access the system using iPads or laptop PC's.
  • Managing and distributing business papers.
  • Markup and annotations.
  • Sensitive document security.
  • Administration interface could be made slightly more user friendly.
  • Customisation of dashboard / homescreen is only possible by engaging third-prties.
  • Navigating tools and within documents could be easier.
Bigtincan Hub is a very well suited solution for board and other meeting management if your organisation values security and centralisation of document distribution. It has allowed us to eliminate paper based documentation for meetings, and provides meeting members instant access to documents and meeting information that can be updated by staff, as required instead of continually reprinting information.
  • Security of documents
  • Distribution of documents
  • Annotations and sharing
  • Centralised control
  • [Minimizing] paper processes and documentation.
  • Streamlining distribution of information, saving staff resources.
  • Collaboration on business papers, improving outcomes and decisions.
Diligent [Boards] was less user friendly than the Hub, and certain security and annotation features were lacking.
