A Cohesive And Fully Featured Payment Processor That Has Worked WIthout A Hitch For Two Years
- The competitive rates we are receiving with Braintree through their program for BigCommerce Enterprise customers have saved us quite a bit in sales costs.
- Braintree's fraud detection is likely set to very high as when we switched to Braintree we only received 1 fraudulent transaction in 2 years which is a huge relief.
- Prompt disbursements have granted us faster ROI than other payment processors.

- The set up for new discounts and plans has to be done manually in the UI, so it means more cumbersome and error-prone setups which may influence our ROI.

Braintree - simple to implement and simple to use.
- Braintree's main advantage for us is that we can receive payments to our different currency accounts. This probably saves 1.5% to 3% in total on the various supplier payments we need to make in those currencies. It saves us having to lose 1.5% from PayPal to domestic currency and then another 1.5% converting from domestic to pay a foreign supplier.
- Refunds are an easy matter to administer so reducing admin time. PayPal's just got better as well - before about 2 weeks ago they were truly awful.
- More MRR for using it thanks to the easy to use process on payment
- Increase on happiness of the employese that do the payments
- Problems with cancellations more easy to do handle
