Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Campaign builder is easy to use and can be immediately, without further training, be used by anyone moving from another platform.

Journey builder is slightly more complex and may require some training or time to get used to, but it is still easy considering the wide range of functionalities it offers.

I would argue that Braze is not particularly easy-to-use. It doesn't behave like traditional CRMs (and even bills itself as a CEP, to further this distinction). Once you understand Braze's ecosystem, it's very straightforward and user friendly, but I would say there is a steep early learning curve and Braze's educational resources leave a lot to be desired.

Despite the great documentation available, Braze is still a crowded platform. Overall, the screens show too much information and the organization (menus, features, etc) is not very intuitive. Because of that, the learning curve for new users might be slower, and that takes a toll if you have large teams, even with the resources available for learning such as Braze Learning.

Braze's usability is one of the main things that makes it stand out from its competitors. The UX and UI are excellent, and it ensures it is not overcomplicated where it doesn't need to be. The online documentation is also handy to help support teams in your business.

It's very simple to set up Braze with new API integrations to our internal systems which makes the sharing of data and the triggering of comms very straightforward. We also utilize custom events to trigger certain customer actions, so that we can trigger real-time comms - which is very simple to set up and execute.

I haven't spent as much time as others on our team learning about the integration process, but we were met with blockers several times during the onboarding process. This isn't to say the integrations aren't flexible, but sorting is not as easy as you think.

Braze is very usable - I have trained numerous colleagues across a handful of departments with a wide variety of backgrounds and they all take to Braze very easily. It is just complicated enough that it appeals to those who are looking to run very complicated multi-tier campaigns, while also being simple enough for those without a lot of experience to use it without messing anything up (haha). Training and follow-up questions required less time overall than with other applications we use to run campaigns

Overall a fantastic tool, but it has its minute flaws here and there. An example is not being able to use action paths for different content cards within the same canvas flow. Editing email style settings not applying to existing campaigns. Links as content blocks not always working.

In terms of the platform itself being usable, I would rate it very highly. The ease of being able to set things up is very clear. In terms of developer integration and documentation, I would say Braze is on the better end of things but still has room to improve. A support network that is more "instant message," like Slack or Discord, would be great. I have seen other providers do that, and it works really nicely.

The Braze team is constantly working on the platform - developing new features, updating the UI (to make it easier to use for non-technical users). The monthly calls with the Braze account management team is always very informative and they listen to their customers. Their support team is responsive and great to work with.

Canvas is probably the best feature they have. Easy to build journeys and to build in A/B testing components, etc. Drag & Drop and a lot of the campaign creation elements are not as good as other platforms. Some pieces require very technical skills, like connected content. Their catalog function is supposed to be an easier solution for this, but it only houses static data, so it doesn't work for things like a product catalog.
