Forthea uses BrightEdge as the backbone of everything that we do for SEO, including both client services and sales. The tool itself is flawless. BrightEdge allows us to gain insights and efficiencies that benefit both the agency and our clients. I initially implemented BrightEdge at another agency, where we went through a rigorous review of a handful of SEO platforms. There really was no comparison, and the decision was an easy one. It provided so much value that convincing the decision-makers at Forthea to implement was a no-brainer, and our entire staff sings its praises daily. Past the platform, I consider our peers at BrightEdge to be an important part of our team. They are skilled, responsive, and provide thought leadership on all things SEO. I don't believe it's possible to be happier with the investment in the platform and the partnership with the BrightEdge team.

BrightEdge is a great tool for SEO analysis, specifically in regard to SERP ranking tracking, keyword analysis, competitive analysis, and task management. More so, the platform is constantly improving, and the BrightEdge team supports each of these initiatives with comprehensive training; on top of the regular meetings, we have to explore ways to use the platform better. It really is a partnership more than a platform.

  • Improved results for and retention of clients.
  • Insights and analysis for all sales efforts.
  • Thought leadership on recent SEO changes and/or issues.
BrightEdge isn't cheap, and I've found that to be the biggest issue when compared to other platforms. That said, when you really dig into the features and benefits, it is the best value. It's the most comprehensive solution available. Aside from platform efficacy, the support and training from the BrightEdge team is an invaluable asset that really solidifies the value you get with BrightEdge.
This is a area where the BrightEdge team really shines. Their commitment to training and product support is unmatched not only for SEO platforms, but life in general. I often find myself wishing my internet provide and similar would go to BrightEdge for training on support and attitude. I would rank them an 11 if I could.
No, we did not purchase premium support. Given how good the support and training is by default, I can't imagine what it would entail.
No
We often use business development accounts to get a better look at potential clients site metrics and the competitive environment. Each time I've requested an account it has been set up within 10-15 minutes. It is such a help when it comes to getting meaningful insights for a potential client.

BrightEdge is our main SEO tool that we use to manage all of our clients. We use it daily to manage keywords, competitors, analyze reporting, look for website technical issues, and use their recommendation system to provide tasks to other employees. We also use their content building module.
  • BrightEdge has a great insights dashboard that quickly tells you what is most important to know and act on.
  • The DataCube with BrightEdge is a fantastic tool that allows us to see what our competition is doing and glean for new keywords.
  • Share of voice shows how we are competing with our current competitors and also if there are any new ones that we should be watching.
  • There is so much information available within BrightEdge that it was hard to determine what to prioritize and tackle first. That was an issue, but now that Insights has been launched, it is no longer a problem.
This platform is for larger companies that want to track a lot of keywords and really use the tool. This is not for smaller companies, as the entry cost is too high.

  • We have multiple case studies that show a significant impact of website performance and ranking once we start using BrightEdge.
I found the folks at Conductor to be very slimy and spent more time saying bad things about other platforms rather than good things about what they do. Very deceptive and their platform is underwhelming.

BrightEdge has been used to improve all the search engine optimization and general content optimization across the marketing website. It also has been used to have a better internal link strategy. It was mostly chose and used by the marketing team.

I would recommend BrightEdge if there is a need for a deep SEO optimization, both technical and content, and if there is a need to review content constantly and with more than two people on your team.

I wouldn't recommended it if the marketing budget is lower than $30k/year or if you already have an SEO copywriter in house and web developers with extensive SEO experience.

BrightEdge stacks up against competitors because of the quality of the direction given to optimize content. It actually tell you which keyword/paragraph/h1/h3 add and where to match within a market opportunity or a competitor similar content, always considering the SERP and the live searches on Google
