Budgyt is a platform made to simplify business budgeting.

With built-in functions designed for data integrity, team collaboration, and scenario planning & analysis, Budgyt is presented as an optimized budgeting experience that rids users of complex, error-prone spreadsheets and the time-consuming upkeep they require.

It provides users navigable dashboards, drill-downs through data hyperlinking, formulas built away from the user interface, and automatic consolidation. With unlimited users, all team members can access their data, analyze variances, and budget both top-down and bottom-up in a single platform, with secure user permissions to ensure sensitive information is always secure and hidden.

According to the vendor, Budgyt was built by experienced power users looking for a more efficient and insightful approach to budget planning. Love Budgyt’s business model which enabled use to try it out with our data and most of the setup without paying up front. Budgyt is so much better than my bulky multi company, multi department Excel spreadsheet. Great that we can upload detailed actual GL data for users to see. Awesome that we easily see prior year monthly actuals, and budget on the data sheet for a gut check. The formulas and excel linking files work like a charm. Implementation was very smooth and haven't needed to contact customer support yet. You can tell this product was designed by a CFO, and is easy enough to use by a non-financial manager.

Great for an organization with multiple companies and/or multiple departments within the company(s). I'd recommend this program to an organization that has more than 3 separate entities and/or more than 3 departments.

Budgyt has been a lifesaver for our organization! The software is very user friendly when it comes to creating several scenarios for budgets and forecasts. It has eliminated the struggles of maintaining an excel spreadsheet that was not user friendly. The software is well suited for anyone that is looking for a user-friendly platform that is easy to learn, provides standard and customization options for providing visualizations to use for presentations. I have also enjoyed the training that Budgyt provides in a recording format and stores in your "library" to review at your leisure.

I'm sure that Budgyt would not be the most appropriate solution for large, complex organizations with numerous entities or overly complicated structures. Those org's likely have solutions within their ERPs or other sophisticated finance systems with budgeting/reporting capabilities that mirror Budgyt, making it redundant. However, for an easy, and relatively cheap solution to meeting those needs, as well as forecasting and analysis, I would recommend Budgyt to anyone with the need.

Budgyt works well for our non-profit social services agency where we offer different types of programs that have multiple funding sources. Budgyt provides a transparent overview of finance results in a quickly changing environment. The platform is flexible for me to include additional programs. I can switch to include additional funding scenarios in the budget. The platform is well-suited to accommodate different types of businesses.

One of the best budgeting softwares in market. And as it is could basaed so can be accessible from anywhere. Cloud basesd feature makes it a little slow for a big company database, where the budgyt team needs to work to make it super fast and super easy without any annoying time to wait for loading things.

This is my first program, using Excel for as long as I have, I wish I moved to Budgyt sooner. It provides a piece of mind you cannot get with Excel. It streamlines all my departments and allows for accurate, real-time reporting. Having all my school's budgets in one platform saves me a great deal of time. Also, having the ability to easily compare them is really helpful.

  • The ability to create Scenarios on the fly is very useful if you need to compare versions of budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
  • Reporting is available in detail or summary levels. We use both.
  • Customer support is quick to respond and very helpful.

Budgyt meets our needs. We can provide as much or as little detail as we want. Importing in and exporting out is easy to do. It was not difficult getting a format to use with our accounting software. Budgyt continually makes improvements that are helpful. The company is extremely supportive and helpful.

We use Budgyt to manage our budgeting process in Budgyt and ensure that budget managers know their spending compared to their budget every month. Budgyt predicts future events based on past transactions and historical financial or operational data. Budgyt allows you to build predictions and include new information that can change budgets. Budgyt supports forecast types, including balance sheet and cash flow forecasts. Budgyt is an excellent tool for evaluating and revising budget assumptions over time.

Perfect for the business where input is collected from many people. It is well-equipped to run regular forecasts. Also, formulas are very powerful, and it is straightforward to prepare budgets based on business drivers. Finally, if you are looking for a reasonable price, you should give Budgyt a go. Nothing on the market is as competitively priced as Budgyt.

As a very affordable, easy to use platform, we use Budgyt primarily to compare our actuals from our accounting software to the budget we put together and used Budgyt to help build. The HR formulas allow for us to add bulk headcount with different bonuses, tax implications ect. These tasks used to take hours longer. In every part of the budget planning process for 2022 (a year after we've had the software), we were able to utilize the software and reports it produced. Our planning time was almost cut in half and we were able to spend more time scrubbing expenses, building out scenarios for leadership. We don't need the bells and whistles that a more robust system might provide (at a much higher cost). For a company that is active in the M&A space, we are constantly adding complexities to our P&L and Budgyt handles it all.

For a nonprofit with a budget or $3-$4M, it is perfect and I cannot imagine where it would not fit in. They have talked about a lot of additions that I believe will make this the perfect tool for any company, but for me, it is perfect--well, almost perfect!
