Bynder has become an essential tool for many organizations, providing a centralized platform for managing digital assets efficiently. Users have praised Bynder for its ability to reduce the time spent searching for assets and ensuring the correct versions are always used. This has significantly improved the workflow for design teams and various departments, including communications, marketing, sales, and human resources.

One of the key use cases of Bynder is its ability to replace legacy methods such as Box, Dropbox, and Evernote. Users appreciate the superior searching capabilities and user-friendly layout that Bynder offers compared to these alternatives. With Bynder's keyword tagging feature, locating specific digital assets has become much easier and more efficient. This has resulted in a smoother process when it comes to sharing assets both within the organization and with external designers.

Another valuable use case of Bynder is its Brand Portal feature, which addresses the issue of outdated and unapproved photography. By providing a single source of approved assets, Bynder minimizes the need for constant requests to the creative design team. This has proven to be a significant time-saver and has improved overall brand consistency.

Bynder's WebDAM feature enables the sharing and cataloging of sales and marketing documents with internal teams, clients, and prospects. This functionality has streamlined collaboration across different departments and made it easier to maintain a consistent brand identity throughout various marketing materials.

The implementation of Bynder across multiple locations with marketers and sales staff as power users demonstrates its flexibility and performance. By offering API support and high availability, Bynder ensures that it can seamlessly integrate into existing workflows while providing a reliable solution for managing digital assets.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We originally selected WebDAM because we couldn't get thumbnails or search on keywords in Sharepoint but with the new O365, Microsoft added these features and more to the DAM on SharePoint so we actually switched about 5 months ago. WebDAM lacks in reporting and analytics as well which is why we had to look for a better solution.

WebDAM and Bynder merged, so we didn't have to choose between them. We found these two had the best templating functions, which was a must have for our clients. Their permissions and user group management also seem to be the most robust. We found their support, including site, documents and staff to be the most responsive.

Bynder's interface won us over - it's clean, simple, and so easy to use. We knew our colleagues wouldn't adopt a program that felt clunky or old, so when we saw Bynder's portal, we knew it was the right choice.

Once the issue was identified we looked at a damn lot of DAMs. Bynder, Media Valet, Webdam, Canto, Cumulus... I can't even remember them all. But that was the problem. There were too many. When one of our team evaluated Bynder he reported back vis a vis the legacy tools of Box/DropBox/Evernote... all of which had their adherents within our team and NONE of which came close to matching Bynder.

So, the decision really became "do we switch now to Bynder, which everyone accepts, or do we spend a year thoroughly testing every other tool until we've broken up again into rival camps?" It was easy. If and when Bynder fails we may look again. But everything's going great now, so why open this can of worms?

For us Bynder was a fairly obvious choice. Not listed above is Image Relay which we also looked at. We knew Dropbox wasn't the answer as we already use that for file management and were looking to find something that made our images/assets searchable. That was key. We also were looking for a program that was easily used. Unfortunately SharePoint and Flight didn't quite hit those marks either. We narrowed it down between Bynder and ImageRelay but Bynder won out when we talked to a person from another company who was able to implement it in 6 weeks and roll out THOUSANDS of assets company wide with minimal management or issues. We heard from other users that Image Relay can be a bit more hands on but we were really ideally looking for a fairly hands-off program. Bynder took some time to implement and set up but since then it's been very manageable.

In terms of competition, there are a lot of paid and free versions of digital asset management systems. However, what Bynder provides is not just a DAM system or software but also an iOS app and even beyond this. The bynder team provides enterprise infrastructure without any organization having to hire a cloud engineer just to implement Bynder. Many software out there promise way too much and when it comes to implementation, it ended up costing more on the engineering side of the implementation. Bynder is more of a SAAS plus professional service.
