Camtasia gets the basics done
- Helps staff to retain new information , reinforcing live training and serves as a refresher tool.
- Saves on having to commit manpower to training. Allows the trainer to record a live training session and to distribute statewide.
- Has assisted in improving the image of our organization in providing 24 hour support through our video library.
- Would love to see more flexibility to add interactive tools such as provided through Articulate/Captivate software.
- We used to source instructional videos. Now we do them in house, saving us time and money. Not only that, they are of higher production value.
- We have used Camtasia to produce promotional videos in house. These used to be outsourced.
- We don't have to wait for an outside firm to find capacity to help us with simple video projects, but can now do them on our timeline.
- Camtasia has surprising power for the price. Again, don't expect Primiere Pro, but understand you may find you can do a lot with this program. We keep finding more and more use-cases for it.

Is It Good Enough for Work? Yes!
- ROI: 100%.
- Camtasia allows us me to quickly create videos showcasing product features, functionality or perhaps enhancements to some of our internal platforms user interfaces.
- I can create a 3 minute promo video (where extensive editing is also needed) within a couple of hours. Creating something similar in other applications would be far more time consuming.
- If I'm creating screencasts, the Camtasia Recorder is my go-to application for raw screen recording. It works really well and is extremely easy to use.

- Positive. I bought Camtasia 2020 through the app store, with a promotion for MAC users. I think it's worth a lot more than what I paid for.
- It has saved us time in that we can efficiently edit video using hotkey shortcuts to zip through editing.
- It has saved us time because we can create a template video with standards such as logo placement and caption animations. Then all we need to do is swap out the video and update the captions and it's done.
- We've had to invest in external hard drives to store all the files.
