The Camtasia and Techsmith products address multiple business problems, such as training, and new hire implementation. This platform helps our company support multiple clients across a variety of media types. Our Member Support Representatives are able to learn and become proficient. Assessments are important, and I will miss the email notifications of new scores. Camtasia billing and managing accounts is always a struggle.

We use Camtasia to produce videos to post on YouTube for podcast episodes, these are typically 1 hour long and result in large files being exported, using cloud video editors in the past has proven to be too slow on big long videos. Adobe premiere is overkill and overpriced for the relatively simple requirements this formatted output needs.

Camtasia is being used within our organization to supplement our training effort in deploying enterprise application systems. This along with other help documentation helps to reinforce learning and reduce the use of manpower for training. Camtasia allows the flexibility to incorporate PowerPoint slideshows, audio and video clips, and graphics and screen recording. Camtasia is also used to edit Skype recordings created during live trainings.

Camtasia is used only by the Management Information Systems team at my organization. We have a need to produce videos that instruct our users on how to use technologies we release. Camtasia makes it ridiculously easy to produce professional videos that capture us manipulating software, voicing our steps (either while we are recording the screen or after), highlighting mouse clicks, and adding annotations to the screen. The application also includes many intros, outros, and themes, which make composing a quality video that much easier and quick. While we initially bought the program for making instructional videos, we have also used it to make promotional videos for our org, finding it a capable editor for video shot with a camera. The audio tools are good enough to correct for soft voices and reduce background noise. Significantly, we are finding that production we use to source we are now doing internally, saving money and time.

Video Editing made easy

One of the best video editing software for a non-technical resource. Very easy to learn and comprehensive software that offers many library items that make this software an automatic choice for video editing. We have used this for presentations, product explanatory videos, and many more. There are other options we have used but most of them are completed [especially] for the nontechnical resources. All its easy learning points make this an automatic choice for video editing.

Camtasia was initially used as part of the online courses my organization offers as well as creating tutorial videos for students, learners, and colleagues. I find Camtasia to be relatively easy to use compared to some of the other products in the market. We have fewer bells and whistles, but enough so that the end product still feels and looks professional. I would recommend this product without hesitation!

Camtasia is being used across our business, although I'm not completely sure on how many licences we have across the different versions of Camtasia. Three members of our central training team use Camtasia which helps us quickly put together screencast videos, whether that be training, product promo, or process reinforcement use cases.

Various departments use Camtasia for various reasons but the Product Management team primarily uses Camtasia to record, edit, and produce marketing-quality and web-quality product demonstrations of all the software products we develop. These videos are used on web sites, presentations, webinars and customer visits to highlight existing product features or upcoming features to give us a competitive advantage in new opportunities.

I use Camtasia to create sales and training videos for the software I build and sell. It's easy to use but has some very powerful features and tools that allow me to record, clean up, and publish videos all from one interface - and the end results look professional with minimal effort.

We are currently using it to create training videos for our end users. Right now it's only being used by 2 departments. I also use it to create and convert other videos for our events to help streamline presentations. It's quick to create and convert many videos and pretty simple to use.

I use Camtasia to edit client videos for YouTube, social media advertising, and email. It is a powerful and easy-to-use video editor with some good and free to use (and some to purchase) intros, outros, and music clips. It is easy to make each client's video brand their own and reproduce for multiple videos; no two client videos look or seem the same.

We have a variety of uses for Camtasia. We record webinars and presentations conducted by vendors and other companies to retain for future reference. We make training videos and informational presentations. Most recently it was used to record a PowerPoint presentation for an audience of technical consultants. The .mp4 file was submitted to a professional production company who then recorded my narration and combined that with the video. The final result was sleek. We see the most value from creating marketing and educational videos.

At the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL, Camtasia is used as the screencast production software of choice to create visual learning experiences from orientation to a learning management system or website to drill-and-practice training, primarily for faculty and students. It provides a visual opportunity to understand often technical information in combination with written or oral narratives consistent with multimedia learning theory (Mayer, 2009) that suggest learning succeeds when a combination of two sensory modalities (visual plus written or visual plus oral) are addressed.

I'm using Camtasia both to create instructional videos for my YouTube channel as a marketing funnel, and also as a way to communicate with my developers when showing how to produce a nuanced bug. I'm sure I'm forgetting other ways I use it as well. It's probably one of my most indispensable tools.

I'm part of the customer training team. My group has 3 licenses [with Camtasia] and we use them to create video tutorials and edit more complex videos for both internal training and customer training. It also allow us to get faster screenshots and create videos directly from Power Point. Camtasia has allowed us to make videos much faster without the need to hire outside companies. When the design and execution process is done in-house the work gets done much faster. All the tools I need to make videos are in the Camtasia libraries and I have saved time searching for outside resources.

Camtasia is being used by my company to develop training videos that demonstrate ho to use systems and complete daily work procedures. These videos are edited to call-out key steps, system highlights, and best practices. It is also used to edit short interviews with leadership and other decision makers.

Camtasia is being used in two ways at our organization. First, for screen-recording, which is what it is probably most known for. It has become the industry standard for screen-recording over the last decade. Second, and probably most important to our organization, it has become our solution for entry-level video editing. Camtasia is a powerful video editor and it has filled a big need in our organization by allowing new users to quickly begin editing training videos. We are producing a large number of videos each year, but we only had a couple of people with editing skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, which has a high learning curve. Camtasia is more affordable and allows us to spin up additional editors on our team that create quality videos.

Camtasia is a low cost video editing and screen recording software that we use to create and edit digital presentations that we turn into webinars and online courses. It was the first video editing software that I purchased for my business in 2015. It is simple to use for beginners. Advanced video editors will love the streamlined software that allows you to just focus on the task at hand without getting bogged down with extras.

My organization uses Camtasia to create technical training videos for our clients. Our training team uses it as an alternative to in-person training sessions. This was mostly a pandemic-era decision, but we will definitely continue to use the application in the future. I have also used it to create internal, "fun" videos and hope to create marketing or demo-type videos in the future.

In short, I use it personally to create content that explains the use of other programs to my students in a private academy. We also advise clients who use it to create content for social networks, email, etc. generating Camtasia 2020 templates for them (and/or projects in old versions). I edit videos for conferences, courses, presentations (currently before Covid-19 they were face-to-face), currently they are presented remotely.

The whole organization uses Camtasia. We are a small company, with four people. Two of us are trainers and we record online video courses. We use Camtasia to create professional training videos and our in-house editors use it to add features and logos, etc. to the videos to make it consistent with our brand. We need a reliable program that can be used by the entire team to create professional video. We also do green-screen video and Camtasia is great for that.
