Overall, Canvas is easy to use. While at times, the app can glitch and cause load errors, in general, Canvas makes training and teaching easy as well as engaging. The ability to use Canvas on the go helps when working with remote users or those who have an active lifestyle and may not be able to get in front of a desktop device daily.

The functions in Canvas are well integrated and consistent across the application, and mostly intuitive. Overall navigation and setup is streamlined through integrated features and navigation. The feedback we've gotten from our program participants is that it is easy to learn to use. It also integrates well with third party software like Google Docs and Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing software.

There are a few tools that need an overhaul, and are a bit cumbersome to use, or lack some of the features that faculty want.
For example the current web grading tool, although better than others I have seen, could have fewer clicks. There are some inconsistencies in interface in a couple of areas. I hear that a complete overhaul of the gradebook i, and grading s underway and will be released in 2016.
