If you have a pro that uses the software then you should be fine. If you are using the software and need any support from THEIR customer support people or dedicated rep, be prepared to be frustrated! Horrible Customer Service but it is due to Wolters Kluwer not caring and purchasing various tax products but not having the ethics to make sure they are properly trained or overwhelmed.

It seems now more than ever it is crucial for medium to large firms to have a process of getting a return done. It is the end of time that only one person touches a return and send it out. CCH Axcess lets you create workflow to set up stages of the return and send to the responsible staff.

I’d only recommend tax. CCH customer service cannot handle it well when you order different softwares from them. They don’t value customers’ time. We still have to call in to pay. I got so frustrated with billing issues that I just pay in full for my orders. I consider myself a good long term client. Paid in full when their billing got confusing, only contact sales rep once a year to renew. However, the relationship turned south after I ordered all the suites. When there was an issue, I realized that it doesn’t matter that I order all the Axcess modules, paid in full and have been a loyal customer. They simply just don’t care. Everyone just says they can’t take care of my issue.

CCH Axcess is well suited for small to mid-sized companies that want to improve their productivity and reduce paper waste and filing space. CCH Document is a fantastic tool. Files can be uploaded, downloaded, edited, and then reuploaded. You can find all your files in different categories. It is easy to recover files if they have been deleted. I found it is a very reliable file storage program. CCH Financial Prep is also highly praised by my boss as she uses it more often than I do. It made her year-end review so much faster and less painful.
