We use Checkr to run all of our candidates background checks during on-boarding. Checkr assisted with automation as it Integrates with our ATS and HRIS. Once a candidate signs their offer via our ATS Checkr will auto run the applicable BG check and the candidates details will become visible in our HRIS for on-boarding.

When it comes to background checks Checkr gets the job done! Checkr offers many different packages as well as package customization which is great. The integrations are awesome when it comes to setting up workflows and automating on-boarding. With some time and research however you could surely find a cheaper solution that does the same out there.

Checkr is our primary source of background checking for any employees who report having a criminal record. This ensures that we do not send violent offenders to the homes we complete projects on for our clients. Background checks are indepth and indicate offense types, dates, severity, etc. This is one of our greatest assets for determining whether or not a candidate is an appropriate fit for our company.

When applicants report a criminal history, we use Checkr to research the specifics on their criminal background, aiding us in decision making on whether or not a candidate is appropriate for our company. Since we send our employees to clients' homes, it is vital that we do not have any employees with offenses against children, or in general violent offenses.

We are a staffing firm and we use Checkr to complete background verification requirements for potential candidates for our clients. Background checks are a critical part of our business and Checkr has been phenomenally good at helping us do that. It is really easy to order background checks, all it takes is a few clicks. The turnaround time on these is really quick as well. And we have had no complaints come up as far as accuracy is concerned. Best of all, it integrates with our Applicant tracking system.

I can recommend Checkr to pretty much anyone looking to do background verifications, their pricing is certainly flexible enough to accommodate most requirements. The only scenario where it might not be a good fit for you is if you need a LOT of detail in your verification reports. Checkr is usually pretty succinct in its verification.

We use Checkr to run background screens for new hires. We were looking for a platform that seamlessly works with our HRIS and has a straightforward product offering and user interface. Checkr hits the mark on all counts.

The employee/new hire experience is also very smooth after we transitioned to Checker as everything before that was absolutely manual - we used to spend many hours a day processing the same for our new hires/employees

Checkr is streamlining and automating the background check process, which is a tremendous benefit for a small HR team who typically doesn't have the bandwidth to manually conduct education verifications or criminal searches, but hires in a massive scale. Checkr nicely integrates with my ATS, Payroll, and security monitoring platform for SOC 2 compliance, making things more efficient, especially with a small HR team. Ordering background checks takes only a couple of clicks.

We use Checkr to perform background checks for all applicants, once a conditional offer has been extended. It is integrated with our HRIS. It is a seamless part of our recruiting and onboarding process. This helps us review any flags that may need to be addressed with a candidate. Checkr offers a few different levels of background screens so we can request a more in-depth report for certain positions.

We use Checkr to conduct both criminal background checks and employment verification. We used to do all of this internally, and since switching to Checkr it has freed up a tremendous amount of time that we can use to focus on other onboarding tasks. We use this service both when hiring direct employees, as well as when we hire on contract employees that come to us from a staffing service.

It is great for a smaller company that would like to be able to review results prior to hiring on candidates. It has been great for us especially in saving time that was previously spent on conducting background checks and employment verification. It's also great if a company wants to hire someone in quickly, and don't want to wait several days for results to come back. May be well-suited for larger companies (unless they have a dedicated team that reviews the results), or for companies that need a much more in-depth background check or employment verification.

We use Checkr for background use. Once a candidate is offered a position within our organization and they sign the offer, background (Checkr) is triggered. The background process is very quick unless the candidate lived in a rural area. Therefore, may take additional time getting the documents needed to clear them.

We provide in-home care for the aging and disable population. Using Checkr allows us to comply with licensure minimums as well as provide our clients with a sense of security knowing we are sending vetted employees to work in their home.

Checkr is integrated with our HRIS which allows for a seamless onboarding experience, this is a huge factor in the ease of launching background checks. The ability to order different types of packages based on our needs (sometimes we need teh MVR, sometimes we don't) is also a great feature. We like being able to drill down on the full report and see where there may be hang ups when they occur.

We require ALL employees to undergo an annual background check. We use this information to determine if the individual is eligible for employment with our company.

Again, their Customer Service is great! We had a candidate come back with some information that made them not hirable. After the "adverse action" information was sent to the candidate, he responded to Checkr with some new information. Unfortunately, it was not yet in the court system - but Checkr did an automatic "Recheck". This all happened within a 24 hour period.

Back to the Minors. When I receive information from the managers of my company, I have to information to show that the individual is a minor or not. It would be nice to get an email from Checkr that a minor tried to complete the report or better yet, for them to be able to run checks on minors.

I use Checkr to run background checks on all of our candidates. It currenlty connects to our HRIS system, Rippling.

As a staffing agency, we often have a sizeable amount of candidates (25-75) starting on an assignment at one time. Checkr has the ability to run background checks for those candidates in bulk, which is a huge timesaver for us! This was the main reason we switched over. It's also great that our hiring system (Rippling) connects seamlessly to Checkr, if we are hiring a one-off candidate.

We have been using checks for a bit more than 2 years now. We have used other products in the best with clients such as franchise background checks which has been nice and simple to use but Checkr seems to meet that same convenience as well as offer more thorough searches. We miss the rates we had with other background check services but feel their services are still worth it with Checkr.

We use Checkr for all of our new hire background checks and MVR screenings. Checkr allows us to do both for every new hire, without all of the tedious manual involvement.

Checkr offers multiple levels of background check at relatively accesible prices. It is extremely easy to use with the integration on our platform, since everything is connected.

We use Checkr to do background checks on the employees we hire within our company. This is a great platform to do quick and easy background checks, which are required as part of our hiring process. Having the ability to safely and securely do these background checks is key for our business.

My only issue would be with the platform being newer, it seems like it could offer more options for users. Plus, the customer service was slow when we needed to call to address an issue, but the issue was resolved when they did pick up.

After an offer letter is signed, we conduct background checks on all employees. Checkr integrates with our HRIS, Rippling, so checks are initiated as an employee is onboarding. It's very smooth.

It's important to us to hire individuals without problems with drugs or alcohol since they're operating very dangerous and heavy machinery. Checkr helps calm our fears a bit.

The integration helps give us more time in our day because background checks are initiated as the employee completes their onboarding. It requires no work from us, unless an invitation expires or they never onboard.

There are lots of details in the background checks, which helps us get clear answers.

We use Checkr for running background checks on our large volunteer base across the organization. So much of our programming is filled by volunteers it gives us an additional tool to safeguard our people and property. Previous background check companies were cost prohibitive, inconvenient for the person being background checked or provided delayed results. Checkr has addressed each of those concerns in a budget-friendly, streamlined and efficient background check process.

The ease of use in the volunteer space is outstanding. Volunteers simply respond to a quick e-mail with limited information to safely and securely start their background check process. We use Checkr across our whole organization to run background checks on our employees and volunteers. We had a very manual process prior to implementing CheckR with our database software. We saved hundreds of man-hours by automating our background check process. This has freed up our staff to actually follow up with the people we are researching and the references they leave us much easier than before, as they have time to do other tasks.

Checkr is used to background check our contractors. It allows us to set the bar in our industry for risk mitigation and compliance. Checkr also gave us automation to improve efficiency in onboarding and best in class resources and platform training for our employees. Productivity is simple and streamlined with the easy to use dashboard.
  • The analytics section in the dashboard allows you to sort by geography and date so you fully understand where and when your applicants are applying.
  • The training resources available to employees make sure that we are fully compliant.
  • The dedicated account manager helps us through all hurdles.
  • The analytics section is not fully customizable and some data has to be retrieved manually.
Checkr is great for gig economy platforms and other contractor type work scenarios. It's also amazing for companies that are hiring nationwide, as you get advanced information in their geography section of analytics.
