Mentor Matching
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Chronus to support initiatives related to DEI, women in leadership, top talent, or on-demand as needed. Peeling it back the mentoring match ultimately is to upskill, reskill, or get better at a leadership competency. This drives retention, career progression, and the employee experience through connections and belonging.
Pros
- Algorithmic match
- Admin dashboard
- Connection plan
- User interface, mobile friendly
Cons
- Mentoring software is only as good as we provide good internal mentors so accountably is on us to bolster the system with good mentors.
- When I evaluate the satisfaction of our mentees I need to hear "my mentor was great" and this is not a software result but a human result.
- Many of my Chronus contacts have changed over the years, sometimes I feel I know more than them.
Most Important Features
- Data Feed (nightly) to easily add or off board new or termed EEs.
- Algorithmic match (gets us out of the matching game).
- Ongoing pulse on satisfaction, activity, and who's looking for a mentor.
Return on Investment
- Term rate improvements
- Career Progression counts
- Connectedness
