Cisco Routers - Battle and time tested equipment

Rating: 10 out of 10

Generally speaking, if you're connected and up, from a router standpoint, you'll be able to keep access to applications up. Cisco has begun to differentiate themselves here with the inclusion of Viptela, and to a certain extent Meraki, to bring new methods of keeping continuous access available. Since these technologies are becoming built-in this gives them an advantage over other routers that require 3rd party support to achieve it.

I'm not good at catchy word play (That's why I'm not in Marketing. )

Cisco was very sufficient at providing these services and access to our applications and data. We have used two other brands due to contract awards and compliance requirements, but my preference for ease of operation is Cisco. There are some features that other vendors have that I would like to see Cisco integrate into their systems

As I said previously, Cisco routers provide a reliable and stable platform. I find the Cisco provides a higher uptime when compared to competitors.
